Yknow the thing they don’t warn you about in forcefem orientation is the insanity. The feeling of having two minds fighting inside me at the same time, gripping my cerebrum and dancing along my prefrontal cortex while we pace around worrying if our buds are showing.

One side of us fights for change, they eagerly look forward to what comes next in training, she stares into the mirror at night longing for the day where we are reflected.

The other side fights against the change, “He” wants everything to stay exactly how it was because that’s how it’s “supposed to be” or whatever. He “spent xx years making sure everything was the same” but it’s not like it matters anymore.

Yknow I wonder when they are going to let me out of this basement, they keep saying soon but so far all they have done is give me an extra long pair of socks and this weird shark plush. Not that I mind it, the socks are surprisingly comfy and the shonk is very nice, I have named her Sappho.

I need an Affini to stop me in my tracks and tell me everything is ok. I need one to care for me so genuinely that I grow to accept that I am worthy of others time and attention. Kinda unfair that I can’t have a loving plant in my life who supports me in my journey to be my best self.

I would really appreciate having one to help manage my memory issues, or my general ADHD. Maybe they would recognize it as an actual disability and have methods of helping me that aren’t just “write stuff down in a journal”

I wonder if there is a timeline where HDG grew to a point where people are making actual books in the setting instead of little works. I can imagine a world where it has a shelf or two in the back of a Barnes and nobles.
