“I dream too much, work too little.”

“I didn’t know you were going to stay with me for this long” she said. “Why did you think that?” I asked. “After a while people tend to realize that I’m like a huge hurricane that’s about to hit so they run away before I start a mess” her eyes shifted to the ground and I wanted to reassure her that I wasn’t going to go anywhere, but I knew words weren’t going to mean much to her.

“How do I stop carrying everything that has ever happened to me?”

“I cannot make you understand. I cannot make anyone understand what is happening inside me. I cannot even explain it to myself.”

“Its getting hard again. Hard to wake up, hard to go about my day. Hard to live, hard to breathe, hard to love my skin. At times like today, I don’t want to feel my skin anymore. I don’t want to exist anymore.”

“I realized today that I have stopped living life. I’m literally just trying to get to the next day, just living in the thought of tomorrow. I’m not living, I’m waiting. And the trouble is, I don’t know what I’m waiting for. I’m kind of scared for what it might be.”

“Some people feel like they don’t deserve love. They walk away quietly into empty spaces, trying to close the gaps of the past.”

“And I realize that no matter where I am, whether in a little room full of thought, or in this endless universe of stars and mountains, it’s all in my mind.”
