Lord, You know that these past 6 years have weighed heavily in my heart, and his passing shook my very core. There are days when i'm sitting and watching my beautiful husband to be sleeping and I wonder if this is what I would have felt with him had he stuck around. I look at myself and still sometimes see that 16 year old girl he broke, and I hate him. But, then I remember how happy I was and I miss him. I wish he would have chosen life, because he was such a beautiful soul. You and I both know that a boy like that with so much potential would have gone on to do wonderful things. My heart still feels heavy sometimes, but I know he is with you and he is finally happy and pain free. Lord, all I ask is that you keep him safe and very close to you because he was special and damn near perfect. Thank you for bringing him to me even if it was painfully brief. Thank you for bringing me J and his little girl, because in them I have found the light that died in me a long time ago. Amen
