Love 'em half bottles of bubbly. Perfectly sized! 💁🏼 This is a purchase from last week's "schaumweinabend" (aka. foamywinenight). Blanc de pinot. Cremant de #Bourgogne. Unusually citrusy, green apples, unripe pears, jasmin flower, looooovely acidity, clean, crisp... but the highlight actually are the awesome creamy bubbles. Really luxurious 👌🏽👌🏽. #winetasting #winelover

The best South African #pinotage ive tried so far. No coffee notes 🤔 but nice and smoothly tannic, super ripe dark fruits, oaky, long sweet finish... reminded me so much to an old school cab sauv from Chile! 👍🏽

My first ever #unoaked #Chardonnay 😯 Interesting 🤔 Lots of fruity nose with pineapple and peach. Still found some caramel and vanilla notes that i originally thought came from the barrel. This one was a happy juice, but somehow lacked a bit of... something... 🤔 or maybe its just me being oldschool and just need to get used to unoakiness... 🙈 #winetasting

This was an absolutely surprise to me!!! 😱 Demonio de los Andes: firstly: why would there be a horseback spaniard on the label?!? 🙄 secondly: this used to be a cheap ass "student budget" pisco... how the hell did it ended up smooth as silk and with clear notes of apple martini?!?😯 (signature of good, artisan piscos)... amazeballs... 😱👍🏽

A beautiful italian blend from last week's tasting, blend of #Primitivo and #Syrah. Dark, spicy, oaky, but not so heavy, well balanced and super silky. Absolutely lovely. 👌🏽#winelover #winetasting

Another good one from the #winetasting on wednesday. A surprinsingly ready to drink right bank, not overly oaked, balanced, cassis, cranberries, long finish. Nice #corbieres ... 👌🏽

My first wine tasting... IN GERMAN!! I went a bit skeptical to #jacqueswinedepot knowing how germans are proud of their wines 😕 but came out so pleasantly surprised: one of the most interesting white wines ive ever tried in my life. It could have been served a bit colder but it was so unusual, complex, unique. Cotes de Beaune 2013, Bourgogne... I must research it. What caught my attention so strongly? It was one of those whites that in a blind tasting could easily pass as a red wine. Impressive. 😳👏🏼👌🏽 PS.- Unlike like people would have thought: i did NOT become more fluent in german after a few wines... on the contrary... 🤔 #winelover #winetasting

I bought this "for fun" 😛 at a specialized wine store at #düsseldorf since the label was kinda cool. What would you know? It turned out to be a pretty darn cheap and good #syrah. Heavily oaked, like most chileans, but you can still find the notes of dry wooden herbs (bay leaf, oregano), and cracked black pepper. Nice. 👌🏽

A very nice rep of #riberadelduero 👍🏽 Very oaked, vanilla, caramel, a bit smoky... and warm baking spices come in the end. Very nice. 💃🏾

One would never think that just one more year in bottle would do much difference, but it does! 🤔 #bordeaux wines are so specific, it blows my mind every time... Tannins got silkier, finish got longer, everything was more luxurious... Interesting experience. 👍🏽

#prioratwine ... what. an. amazing. wine. 😱🙌🏾👏🏼 The best i have tried so far. 15% abv, but smooth as silk, perfectly balanced (best served under 20•C!!). Grenache, cab sauv, merlot, syrah. Super complex, long finish. Awesome. Will go to the store today to grab more bottles, this is one to have a few of them stashed somewhere. 👌🏽

#pugliawine ... definitively Puglia with strong apassito, strong alcohol, strong character. I found again the metallic note to it, which ive found in other Puglia reps (in Negroamaros as well)... maybe process related? Interesting! 👌🏽#winelover
