In January my Mother in Love shot me in the back of the head at close range with a powerful nerf gun. (Still probably have a bruise!) 😂 We laughed so hard because she was aiming at someone across the room. She says.......... 😇Happy Mother's Day to the incredible woman who made my hubby the great man he is every day. Thank you for your gracious love and creativity and generosity!! ❤️

Happy Mother's Day to the most generous, believing, real, openhearted and humble mom I know. She gave birth to four girls and loved us well. Many stories and creative songs and little parties. Frugal as all get out with things that don't matter, but generous with all that does. She was all of our P.E. teacher early on, which was crazy fun because she definitely favored us. Then she went on to be our full-time homeschool teacher (3 years!!). Taught a total of like 50 years. (Who's counting?? It doesn't matter anymore if you make it past like 25 or 30.) She's retiring after this year. A former Teacher of the Year, she has received accolades from her students, teachers, the board, and the district. And the biggest adoration from all four of her girls. Dad was so lucky. I'm so incredibly proud of this woman. Selfless giver of love and praise, tears and prayers, support and hope. I could go on and on. I love you, Mom!! ❤️

Last night at First Steps to Success Kyler shared Journey's story with the attendees. Born at 24 weeks, surviving heart surgery at 3 weeks, with a surgery that led to a collapsed lung, and four months of scares in the NICU...now thriving at 18 months. Our miracle girl. We wanted to publicly honor God for his goodness and mercy so a few weeks we asked someone we respect very much, @danijohnsonlive to pray for her and dedicate her to God. She always over-delivers. She also prayed for us and our marriage and my heart and body healing and our future and Kyler's film endeavors. I can't wait to transcribe and frame the prayer because it was everything and more that we already pray for our girl. ❤️ Thank you for your love and heart and for mentoring us this year, Dani! We've learned so much, and are still learning!! Indescribable. And thankful for so many of our Young Living friends who were there to love and hug and support by taking pics and video! I'm 18 months today!!! And just wanna play play play, all day day day! I don't need much. Just love. And kisses. And Duckie. And stories. And songs. I did get a new swimsuit and a hat. (Don't match. Don't care.) One day maybe I will get a tooth. And hair. In the meantime Mom and Dad say I'm #theforeverbaby. But babies can't talk and I totally know how to say mama, dada, duckie, woof, moon and diaper. And uh oh. Because I drop a lot of things I'm not supposed to touch. And Mom says it a lot. There's only one thing she's says more, in fact. And that's, "Thank you, God, for this baby and for your mercy.
