ritualadyâ:
despite knowing manjoumeâs feelings, she was still surprised to hear him outright say that he missed her. she wouldnât comment on it, though; he had so quickly tried to recover from what he thought was some sort of mistake. no matter what manjoume hoped for their relationship, it was still okay for them to miss each other. a selfish part of her wanted to be missed, at least so she would know that her own feelings werenât illogical. Â
she felt like she should let go, but she couldnât. itâd been so long since sheâd seen a familiar face. it wasnât as if she was having a terrible time or anything, she was just so far from everyone she cared about. she couldnât help missing them. she couldnât help wanting to hang onto this moment for as long as possible.
â i missed you. â she whispered. â everyone is so far away. â
i missed you. hearing that made his heart skip a beat. she missed him. she missed him. he held he tighter, not wanting to let go quite yet. âitâs not the same without you.â even if everyone had gone their separate ways, they kept in touch and still hung out every now and again. but with asuka having gone oversees, that was next to impossible to do at least on a regular basis.Â
âi wish you were closer.â he admitted softly. he hated how far away she was now. even coming here took a lot, not that he was upset with her for any of it. he cleared his entire schedule to see her. he wanted to see her, and it sounded like she needed some company. though he couldnât do this often. even if he wanted to see her more, it just wasnât possible to clear time like that. âsometime, you should come back to japan. i know everyone would love to see you again.â
