I think that one of the funniest things about Legolas (especially in the movies) is that he’s literally the only Elvish prince in all of Middle-Earth but everyone treats him like he’s just a random guy. And he ACTS like just a random guy as well which makes it even better

i think one of the best things about the line “i have many names” is that it really shows just how old Sauron us but also how many life times he’s lived, how many characters he’s had to play to be what Morgoth or he himself needed him to be. What does he really have in the end? No one who has made it through the ages with him. He’s been alone vying for power since Morgoth’s death and then the one person he feels connected to rejects him and his many evil deeds. And he trues to connect with her over and over again, tries to make her see. Galadriel is the only one who had made it through the ages with him but not by his side, as his rival, her enemy.
