Would this be better if she was dead

She wouldn't even had to wonder

To say she liked the tasty bread

She wouldn't spend her nights

thinking abt the words she said

Or if everything she had

was hanging on a thin thread

All she ever wanted was to express

Always scared of pain being spread

Wondering if she's even taking the right meds

Asking why her wounds never bled

Or Will she ever stop scraping her hands red

All she ever demanded was access

To recognise her feelings unsaid

To sort the million thoughts popping in her head

Not caring what others read

To pass her feelings through infrared

All that mattered was she was blessed

And couldn't afford to be depressed.

You held me from the moment i was born

Till you fell asleep for ever that dawn

You made growing up so easy

And handled me when i got cheesy

I always said "Dadduji, you are only mine"

And you always let others wait who were next in line

You made my life a lot easier to exist

Hugging and kissing u was the only things i couldn't resist

Birthdays you celebrated were my wishes fulfilled

Candles I blew and Cakes we together killed

I expressed my love for you the whole year

My birthday was the day you openly loved me dear

The excitement from a month before was constant every year

Turning older becoming my biggest fear

You used to shop for me a month in advance

And the gifts you gave, had very different plans

Rushing to you exactly at 12

Was happiness in the purest form itself

But now I don't want my Birthday to come

And your absence makes my life numb

With you by my side, Turning 20 was best of my life

Turning 21 without you doesn't make me feel alive

Your presence is the only thing I crave

And I am only left with the love you gave....
