Samâs party had gone extremely well according to Reign, though she didnât really remember the last part of it. It was all a blur, she was drinking to feel comfortable around Lorena, trying to have a good time, but also trying to avoid any conversation about any of the confrontations she had faced recently, but there were few people who let it go unspoken. She genuinely just wanted to let go and have fun, which is how she found herself in this predicament. Drunk and talking to Sam outside, while she tried to convince him that she was totally fine to go out to a club.Â
âSam, stop being so⌠boring,â she pouted, wobbling in her heels, as she poked him in the chest. âIâm fine,â she threw her arms outwards, overbalancing and falling to the ground in the process, giggling as she did. She would feel the effects of that tomorrow morning, but for now she was numb to it. âThat wasnât my fault, that was the⌠the⌠whatâsthisagain⌠sidewalks faultâŚâ she told him as she looked up at him with soft eyes and a pout, knowing that sheâd probably just fall over if she tried to get up alone, totally unaware to some men with cameras quickly approaching.Â

âIâm not being boring, youâre just very drunk â He sighed, running a hand through his hair. Sam put his hands out to catch her but he was too late and she was already sitting on the floor. He winced, that would surely hurt come morning, but she didnât seem affected by it at all. Which further proved his theory that she was several drinks past being tipsy. He laughed when she blamed the sidewalk for her falling down, shaking his head in amusement. She looked adorable right now. Just as that thought entered his brain he was taken aback by it but before he could think about it too much he saw camera men coming, holding out his hands to her, bending down so he could help her stand up. âCome on, let me help you up. Our Uberâs gonna be here in a minute.â While he wasnât as drunk as Reign, heâd also had several drinks which meant that he didnât want to drive. Knowing this in advance he had come here with an uber as well, leaving his car at home.Â
Seeing the car approaching he knew that if she stood up quickly enough they would make it into the car before the paparazzi caught up with them. âLook, uberâs here. Letâs go. No more mean sidewalks that trip you up.â He was planning to drop her off first before going back to his place.Â
