first of all, i HATE that ppl feel the need to fight eachother for "choosing" a brother. i mean, i think we all know better that those brothers are codependent asf and it literally makes no sense to bring one down (im sorry you're getting hate)

second, i do think both sam AND dean suffered from abuse ever since their childhood (from john and from each other; them being so codependent about eachother made them do questionable stuff for/to each other). their whole relatioship is messy as fuck and that's the point of it. they're not normal brothers and will never be, and abuse IS part of their dynamics, but is dumb to say that is only one-sided, or that one brother hates the other one, when we have seen on the show that they kill (and kill themselves lol) for eachother. at the end, you can't have dean without sam, and you can't have sam without dean. they're essential parts of each others lives.
