THE STAR

“The Star brings hope, renewed power, and strength… The universe will bring forth what you need. Loss helped you discover your own resilience and inner power. (Labyrinthos)”

And now, a little rant about some of the details in this:

White Chrysanthemums line the top half of the border, which are associated with both loyalty (in the west), and with death (in the east.) Beneath the Chrysanthemums are Pink Lotus: this represents rebirth.

The artwork is modelled after the art nouveau style, thus the exaggerated curves and body shape. I drew the swirl of Tau Ceti and the sleeves of his jumpsuit around him to create a more feminine shape, attempting to emulate that sort of flowing fabric common in art nouveau and Rococo styles.

In “The Star” card, the traditional design includes two jugs, pouring from her hand, representing life/death, conscious/subconscious. In my artwork, they represent the decision Grace makes of his life with Rocky, over returning to Earth. (Tau is also held with more grip, and slightly higher, indicating his decision.

The Bloodymary brainrot has taken hold of me… ta da!

I made this stupid ass drawing for my latest fic, The Cafeteria at the Edge of the Universe. It's part of my crack series wherein Erid obsesses over the human behaviours displayed by their saviour, leading to a series of bizarre events.

Two artworks I made for my fic, Drops of Jupiter, wherein an older Grace returns to Earth with Rocky and Adrian. The first artwork depicts Grace eating shit as he enters the Mars Space Centre, and dragging Rocky and Adrian down with him.
