Well to maintain your supposed six-pack, you would need to be good. Otherwise makeup would be spending twice as many hours contouring your whole body. I’ll be there in a bit by the way, I’m just leaving now.

That’s because your girlfriend likes to match his mediocre protein shakes with his personality. Wait… Did I say that out loud? Regardless, I’ve got a whole stash so it’s no issue. Chocolate tarts? Are they made with spelt flour and real cacao or is it going to be something I regret later on tonight? 

Let’s just pretend you were only thinking that. I’m not fond of spelt flour, but I did use actual cacao, so be proud. I don’t think you’ll regret the tarts too much, but that said, it’s not like you have to eat them if you don’t want to. 

That does sound interesting, I’ll see if Prakash can get me a script reading or something because it’s definitely something I’d be inclined to work on. I’ve read this latest script of the character being a sort of Krrish like character, had me in splits honestly. I don’t see myself being a superhero unless it’s stealthily done or something. Catwoman is much more up my alley. Work is the only thing keeping me busy honestly, other than that I’ve been working on redecorating the place which I’m definitely going to have you come see as soon as it’s finished yaa?

Oh please do! I think it’ll be the start of a new avenue for you, and it’ll be good. Who said men were the only ones who could kick ass? I don’t know about being a Krrish like superhero, but Catwoman sounds intriguing. I personally think you would be amazing as Wonder Woman, but that’s probably because you already are one in my eyes... I’m a sappy person, don’t judge. Ooooh, redecorating! I can’t wait Di, you have an eye for colour and style, it’s going to look stellar. 

Don’t start with the Ari thing again. It’s not cute. In any way shape or form. Why don’t you just say I’d be too busy checking you out instead of everyone. You know my eyes don’t wander that far. Cookies and Cream, no problem. 

It doesn’t need to be cute for me to call you Ari when I want something. Duh. You checking me out is a given at this point, so I don’t even think about that. YES! You da bestest, Kabir isn’t one for flavoured protein powders and all. Okay, lettuce burgers and protein shakes... do you want chocolate tarts? I made them last night while I was revising for my stats exam.

Although you’d be my favourite groupie. I’d give you a crown. No I wouldn’t, I don’t know what I’m talking about, I don’t even have groupies, unless you include the aunties that hang around my trailer offering me barfi. Anyway, moving on from that embarrassing stream of consciousness. Should I make us some protein shakes too? We can go for a run after the game. I know how much you love those. And how I always beat you. 

So you eat the barfi but you won’t eat bread. I am becoming an auntyji if it means I get to stuff your face with food. I want a cookies-and-cream protein shake, and please you don’t beat me. You run ahead because you know if you run behind me, you’ll forget to run because you’re too busy checking everyone out. We’ve been through this Ariiiii. 

I’ll have a lettuce burger if you can grab one. Or I can get takeaway from this little mexican place on the corner of.. Unless. I guess they may have shut down. Nevermind, I’m not hungry. Just bring yourself. So we can watch the match. And relax. And cuddle a little bit. Like old times. 

A lettuce burger... you’re worse than a model yaar. Eat the carbs! But it’s fine, I’ll grab your pansy food and come over, and then we can be us and I’m so excited! Probably because I missed you immensely... I sound like one of your groupies. I have no regrets haha.

Too much sugar, remember? Can’t put any of that filth in my system. I mean we’ve been through this many, many times, Meera. The game starts at eight, so any time before then but not after or during, would be ideal. I mean, if I had to i’d ditch the game for you, but let’s try to avoid that.

Not enough times, and besides, you know you could never say no to me. Hmmm, well I just finished studying, so I’ll probably be there at 7.30. What do you want me to bring, I feel like eating nachos, or maybe a burger. Mmmm, burgers. Again, you couldn’t say no to me, but I love you enough to let you watch the game in relative peace.

It’s mostly just beer and maybe a couple of stray cucumbers. So as long as you can handle that. And I’m fine with being your pillow, as long as you don’t mind the game playing in the background. Pillow’s need entertainment too you know. 

Beer I get, but cucumbers? Someone was on a health kick for once. No waffles and maple syrup for you huh. There is more to life than football but considering you’re being so sweet about this, I guess I can handle it. What time does the game start, I’ll try and get there before, just so I can have you to myself for all of 30 seconds. 

I know you call it a home, but I really preferred the apartment. Then again, that’s none of my business. Well I did let you know, and you’re welcome to pick it up. From the front desk or my refrigerator. The choice is yours, meri jaan. 

Arjun, why didn’t you ever say anything to me? You’re my best friend, you’re meant to tell me these things. If you wanted to hang out at the apartment, it’s still there - I occasionally go there if I need downtime away from work. It’s always going to be open to you, no matter what. And as long as there’s nothing questionable in your fridge, I’ll be happy to pick up the jalebi from there, while you act as my pillow because classes are a life drainer.

Ma sent you amritsari jalebi by the way. But I’m too afraid to send it in case your people think i’m trying to poison you. 

...my people? Seriously? I know you’re actively avoiding coming over to my home, but really baba, that’s an extreme tactic. You could have just let me know and I’d come and pick it up after class. Silly. Remind me why I bother with you sometimes. 

You’re so funny... even if it is partially true. But we’re not talking about me, just you at the minute. Which is funny, because we rarely talk about you anymore. 

Excuse me, you’re always to be at the screenings before the release, it’s an unspoken rule Sammy. But I’ve been reading some scripts but nothing’s caught my interest too strongly just yet so I’m waiting it out. 

Oh acha? Okay, I’ll keep that in mind, but seriously, I miss hearing about your projects. I did hear something about Vipul Shah wanting to produce a female-centric action movie, it would be interesting for you to do something like that? Waise, besides work, what else has been happening?
