This is the one I'm currently reading 🙈 It's well written but hurt a bit by (and this is my criticism for My Friends too) the fact that it's fictional. If it was the real thoughts of a bunch of astronauts on their nine months orbiting the Earth I'd forgive the lack of plot but because it *is* made up it comes across like just the author's navel-gazing. Also because it's sci fi and up for the booker, it makes me think of how good In Ascension was in comparison ☹️

is anyone else’s favourite part of harry potter the daily grind of hogwarts life? when i’m watching the movies i always think they’re missing something and i just realised it’s the part of the book where they’re like chilling in the common room doing homework and all the birthday & christmas presents they get each other every book and dinners in the great hall and stuff
