“I could say the same about you.” 

“Did you miss me?”

“Could be worse, least I’m not naked.” 

“Something tells me that many would pay good money to see you naked.”

“Me? What about you? Where the heck have you been?” 

“Here. There. Everywhere. What have I missed?”

“Well well, look what the cat dragged in.”

“Dear brother, don’t tell me you didn’t miss me, you’ll break my heart.”

“You’re gonna make me? You remember I lived on the streets too, right?” 

“You keep talking and I’m going to cut your tongue out and box it back to fucked up husband.”

“Too bad, we’re family. You have to like me.”

“Another full moon,” Brianna stated with a sigh, knowing exactly what the other blonde meant. At least somewhat. “I guess it’s not really a myth then, huh?”

“Not in my experience,” she mumbled. Madness was all she’d known for some time now. “I’m surprised you believe in the effects of the moon. You strike me as a purely science kind of girl.”

He had told himself to drive off, ignore what had happened and ignore the blonde he immediately recognized. However, Kyle was never one to act rationally or make good choices. He wasn’t even sure he knew what choice he was making now, all he knew was that he couldn’t drive away. “Madness is right,” the man mumbled as he stepped closer to her.

“What do you mean?” Penelope asked, curiosity dripping from her voice as her eyes followed Samantha’s gaze. “What madness?”

“The madness of people,” she repeated, her eyes still glued to the big moon. It was almost like a warning for someone like Sam. Someone who relied heavily on the energy of the universe. “You know when people are acting weird, not normal and all of a sudden you see the full moon and you go ‘Ah! That’s why”.”

“Are you ever gonna stop with the attitude, Sam?” 

“You may not believe it but I’m your friend and I care about you, so if there’s something wrong I want to know.”

“Well, it’s great you want to know but I don’t have to tell you anything. So do me a favour and get the fuck out before I make you.”

“I’m sorry I was expecting it to be someone else.”

“Is there something wrong?”

“What’s up your ass?”
