The princess never knew how to handle the growing feeling of letting herself go.

She couldn’t afford distractions,not with the dangers of the world waiting beyond her tower.

But maybe, just for a moment,

she doesn’t have to be strong.

Maybe she can stop pretending,

and truly understand what she wants.

But that kind of freedom feels like a fantasy.

She will always be strong for the people she loves.

She will always accept the outcome of her tower.

But maybe one day,

she’ll take flight like her friend.

and no one will ever shoot him down.
