probably one of my favorites of my own fnaf headcanons is that Michael Afton's middle name is William. its perfectly plausible as well as incredibly fucked up for him

I was thinking to myself how William didn't want Elizabeth to die and was, in his own words, a "great cost" and a "terrible accident." But like if he'd been there when it happened he wouldn't have put his own life at risk to stop it from happening. He wouldn't do that for anyone in fact, because death is his worst fear. Then I was like, Mike absolutely would without a second thought. Not just what happened that day but like in any scenario. Take a bullet. Push her out of the way. Whatever happens. But then I was like wait, that's kind of what happens in Sister Location, isn't it? Elizabeth needs to be freed. She needs to be put back together. But going down there is so dangerous. Hey Mike, can you do it for me? I'm too scared. And like let's say William did do it himself. Guess who would've darted out of the scooping room lmfao. Then again he knows the place too well and it feels like he wouldn't have done that to begin with but like still, in this particular scenario he'd be gone.
