Yes it’s the Hadestown one, I was very inspired watching a slime tutorial with my cousin the other day in between sobbing my eyes out so I started writing!!

First chapter has been released and second one is almost finished, I might be faster at writing this one from the selkie one bc there’s a lot more lore and thought that goes into the selkie fic i fear!!

Anyway IDEA: Like a movie esque non ninja au where all the ninja (and an oc please don’t kill me) are in a hs theatre department doing a production of Hadestown

I might change this but i imagine

Lloyd: Orpheus (I mean obviously, right? Young boy destined to save the world from an encroaching evil, sometimes led by his emotions rather than logic)

Eiko (oc that I will talk about at some point): Eurydice/Assistant choreographer (I SWEAR ITS NOT A MARY SUE BULLSHIT SITUATION THE FIC WOULDNT BE CENTERED ON THEM)(But it is fitting considering Eurydice’s role in the story, doomed from the beginning and lost due to negligence from the one she loves, i swear i’ll explain eventually)

Kai: Hermes (this makes sense to me bc he acts as a father/brother figure to Lloyd in like every iteration, and the over the top vibe Hermes has in the show fits him really well)

Jay: Hades (I actually haven’t seen dragons rising 2-4 but i know vaguely about the Rogue persona so i feel like Hades’ arc of slowly losing himself and forgetting the love he once had fits him SO well)

Nya: Persephone (I feel like I don’t even need to explain, she is SO Persephone in her personality and energy)

The Fates: This one i’m a little iffy about, but ignoring that it wouldn’t REALLY work with the vocal parts, but i feel like Zane, Cole, and Pixal? Maybe they’d change the harmonies to be soprano/alto, tenor and bass/baritone? Zane makes more obvious sense as a fate since i feel like he’s more attuned to prophecy and destiny, but he’s also playful and sarcastic at times which would fit. Pixal and Cole kind of have the personality to embody the fates as well, how they sort of mock and torment Orpheus and Eurydice would fit since Cole and Pixal are both sort of playful individuals? Pixal would sing the high harmony, I imagine she’d be an alto, Cole would sing the middle, he’s probably a tenor, and Zane would sing the low harmony, I would imagine he’s a bass.

For the ensemble, there would need to be around four, so i’m thinking maybe the DR kiddos as freshmen? Arin, Sora, Wyldfyre, and like. I’ve only seen DR s1 so like Euphrasia? probably?

Skyler would be SM, Harumi would be like a bitchy assistant director, and I would probably make Sensei Garmadon the director rather than Wu, Wu would be the choreographer I think, and Misako the vocal director.

I’d want it to be like equal povs between all the mains, Jaya and Pixane would be pre-established, Lava would be first meeting and developing through the fic, and Lloyd x Eiko…….please don’t kill me……would also be first meeting and develop through the fic. (Their ship name is LifeTime tho please ask me why)
