We're in the process of rewriting our pinned post with the updated rules and guidelines. In short, we no longer allow accusations of serious things like racism, homophobia, s/a, grooming, and so on. Also, additional changes will be put in place to prevent abuse.

Our inbox and replies are again open, and you may notice anonymous asks have been disabled. This is intentional and part of the reasoning above, and so we can privately reject asks that toe the line too much instead of them being archived with no response. You can still have your submissions posted anonymously if you ask for them to be so.

While we won't be posting any submissions until everything is set up again, you can still submit comments/feedback at this time.

Hi, let me clear something up. That was not this blog's purpose. Here is a snippet from our last pinned post:

This blog was conceived at a time where a large number of people were exposed for engaging in fascist idolization and/or pedophilia, and the fandom was in an uproar. It was made on a whim to try and contain the salt that flooded the fandom tags, and later devolved into more mundane petty things.

We, personally, did not want to get involved in organizing any callout or harassment campaign. The concept was for users to submit their own grievances and minor fandom rants, and only occasionally platform serious accusations for someone who would rather stay anonymous. We quickly realized the glaring flaws in this plan once it started causing genuine harm. This was not well thought out and we apologize for the confusion and oversight.

Long story short, someone was accused of being racist, the submission was posted without context, a second submission was sent in and after doing some digging on that one it turned out the someone in question was a poc and very young.

With this knowledge we've dropped the accusations and are no longer accepting serious submissions we cannot vet ourselves, as we are not looking to operate as fandom police, nor personally get involved in drama we have no place in.

Personally, I'll be alright. I just need some time to think about things.

Due to recent submissions, we are reevaluating the purpose of this blog, and our impact on the fandom as a whole.

Mistakes have been made; serious accusations have not been verified, and our existing method of keeping the accused anonymous is not satisfactory. We are not equipped to process callout-esque submissions and practically expose people, we see this now.

It should be noted that while I say 'we,' I am the sole person running this account at this time, and I have not been giving my due diligence in overseeing important matters such as this. I've allowed myself to enable other people's terrible behavior while telling myself I'm not truly involved, and now I'm taking responsibility for that. I apologize sincerely to those negatively affected by this blog.

The #freshblood tag is being retired, and any posts with it will be private and unrebloggable. Going forward, there will be changes to the rules of our submissions. We will decide what to do over our impending hiatus.
