You really don’t realize how disconnected from reality rich people are until you have to work for them bro, like I just had a woman start crying because I told her that the leather recliners she wants to order would take 2 weeks to ship and she goes “We just finished our custom home theater room and I have a get together this weekend and I have kitchen chairs in there. do you have any idea what thats like?” HELLO????

i don’t understand the attack on ppl like this just bc they are more fortunate. this may very well be the only “negative” in their lives, but it should still be validated? it isn’t a competition between who has it worse, and you can’t try to minimize this woman’s feelings about just wanting to have recliners in her home theater!! each and every person has their own personal struggles or things that upset them. honestly wash the bitter attitude out of your mouth, try to just be a little bit compassionate and learn to hold some god damn space

if you’re in you’re early-mid twenties and they fucking suck, i promise they fucking suck for most people because it’s the time when you are really figuring out who you want to be how you fit into the world who you should surround yourself and it’s mostly misfires and painful learning experiences and reckoning with your childhood and learning to heal your deep wounds, it’s a very very painful transformation process and it doesn’t really end as you get older, you keep growing and learning, but you learn more and more the tools you need and you can equip yourself with them in times of hardship and find the spaces where you belong that can hold you
