Is it gay to commission a portrait of your best friend to gaze upon longingly whenever you're forced apart 😏? Asking for Maxie ... First illustration from the book! Or better, one for the characters presentation section. Benjamin is the main character so he's first on the list! I liked the idea of a more personal one for him. Since I'm a sucker for this kind of portraits and I do want to test my limits, I've decided to take inspiration from real ones, and realize a bunch for the main cast according to their rank and possibilities. Main inspiration for this one is John Singleton Copley's Winslow Warren portrait. I'm quite pleased with the result!

Playing around with solutions for the cover! I will use this one to ship it around and get some feedback about publishing 🙃 I really wanted the cover to deliver the atmosphere and tone of the story, so i went for those "overdramatic" eerie-sque vibes for this one.
