the issue I was running into with researching this a few weeks ago is that almost all of the scholarly writing on the content of people's forced-sex fantasies focuses solely on women's fantasies and starts with the research question of "why would women enjoy imagining such a horrible misogynistic thing?" despite surveys often showing that men have force-fantasies (where they are the one being forced) at very comparable rates to women. my hypothesis for a bit was "either men's fantasies are exactly the same as women's or they're completely different in [x] way," which was disproven interestingly when I did finally find something about men's force-fantasies: in content they are almost exactly the same as women's fantasies but the emotional motivations are often different in [y] way, which I hadn't expected. and [y] also super applies to my buddy ryland, perhaps even more than my original [x] hypothesis.

But like i'm just one guy, who happens to be one species, and I tend to make stuff that are suited to my tastes and my species. Plus, a lot of birdplay relies kinda also on what your actual kinks are. The same bird could want to feel wildly different, and a big raptor can be submissive and manhandled as much as a small songbird can want to be a pushy dominant.

My real advice species wise is to, well, either look at what you like about the species (if you are not a therianthrope) and if you are a therianthrope, to rely on your instincts. And then, to talk and mingle with other kinkster, to see how you can mix things up.

There's a bunch of things I've never explored ! A lot of birds a serial cheaters, and you could totally be a prettybird swaying someone else's mate for your own gain and so she raises your eggs, or on the other side, a hen who has scored a great male to help raise her eggs, but wants the one juuuust a bit prettier to actually father them.

You could do a bunch of things with game fowls or rare birds for a collector, have dom hunt you down during a paintball game where you have gear signalling you as the prey, or write up cuts of meat on you when you're caught or pretend stuffing you as taxidermy, if you're into that (and god knows i could see why, ahah).

For all the water birds, you could get taught tricks where you grab things underwater, or a gull can incarnate the mischief maker they are and be a huge brat that relies on bullying people into giving into them, maybe by throwing them in the pool, your territory, if must be.

You can tie up a bird to band them, or put a tracker on them. You can plant a "wildlife camera" into a bird sub's nest so you know every single behavior you could want (and when their breeding season starts to take their toll on them).

A bird can bully a human about how much of a pervert they are for wanting to fuck all year instead of during a breeding season. A human can bully a bird when suddenly the scales tip and its the bird who's needy and desperate when the human isn't that much more horny than usual.

imagine. a beautiful dragon still unsure of how to even move her new limbs accidentally rubbing her snout against the floor and letting out the most pathetic needy whine as she proceeds to do little else, utterly reveling in how right it feels.

she cant even form words, syrinx utterly unfamiliar to her still, and her attempts at questions about whether this is even real- or whether this is right- or whether shes allowed to even feel like this- all coming out as nothing more than pleading trilling and growling and whining...

and then a human gets her hands under the dragons snout and she collapses comically, completely, soft putty in her companions hands. shes not even present enough to be embarrassed, wings twitching and tail thumping so rapidly against the floor its less of a beat and more a sustained tone. her whines reach higher and higher pitches as fingernails find the exact spots at the base of her jaw to make her tongue involuntarily flick in and out, her desperate sloppy attempts at nuzzling far too weak because she cant bear to be untouched for even a second.

it doesnt take long after that for the dragoness to fall completely asleep (pinning her companion of course, for how could she move when the new and beautiful beast atop her whines so sadly every time she removes her hand?) and perhaps later when she wakes she will be fiercely mortified, memories completely intact as to how she acted.

oh she can insist that it was just a one off thing, that it was the effects of a foreign and yet affirming transformation, but every time someone catches her by surprise with claw, paw, or hand in just the right spot down her soft nose... she could hardly be blamed for the undignified noises she lets out, truly!
