**Meet Sally and Ahmed, me and my husband**
We’ve been a happily-married couple for 8 years now.
I used to teach English for kids. He used to work to the tax sector.
We’ve been always dreaming of a baby to fill our life with joy.
With our little earnings, we saved enough money for treatment.
Things did not work well our side. We therefore postponed the dream until we secure a home for the three of us.

Goods in the Strip come from two ways:
- Through Isra-hell’s broder Karm Abu Salim, meaning that all products go through their surveillance systems before they enter G@za
- Through the air-drops from some countries (against which I totally stand!)
This means that G@zans do not have alternatives. It is either THIS or NOTHING!
So, I see people saying, “we are boycotting for you and you are not?”
Man chill! While you have various alternatives, they have nothing and literally nothing!
G@zans are already doing their HUGE part of enduring all these hardships surrounding them of losing their loved ones, their belongings, their homes, you name it!
And your only job is to stop having a mac-cheese or a Starbucks cup of coffee, and you are still finding it difficult?
The comparison is not even fair!
Keep speaking up for Palestine. Keep boycotting. And do NOT find yourself excuses for not to.

Yesterday, I left my phone at 1 PM and picked it up at 8 PM... The struggle of charging my phone continues. I long to return to my normal life, where I could easily charge my phone anytime.
Most women in G@za decide to cut their hair.
And we, women, know what our hair means to us.
Last night, I decided to cut it too. I had to cut my precious, soft, long hair.
We have to cut it because it is covered all the time anyways (hijab in Islam).
We have to cut it because there is not enough water for showering during these hot days.
We have to cut it because we cannot do the proper hygiene and care.
We have to cut it because there is no shampoo nor cream.
We have to cut it because it is too hot.
We have to cut it because things have become less important for us.
We have to cut it because life itself is cut short for us.
Hair is one thing. Plenty and plenty of other things are cut for us too, and life? Life is on for you only. And only you.

I miss my full-of-clothes drawer
Fleeing my house in October 2023, I wished I could carry it on my back. I could not even carry a piece of cloth.
I only fled my flesh. We only fled our souls.
The war started in Summer. I had summer clothes on when fleeing by then.
When winter came, I could afford buying two outfits. For the whole winter, only two outfits.
Now, it is summer again. With the little earning we get from selling Falafel, I could buy another outfit two months ago. It is getting very old. I wear it day and night. And I really hate it!
I miss my full-of-clothes drawer. Have you ever missed clothes?

When water becomes a treasure
My husband and I share chores in an average war day in Gaza.
We wake up at 5 am. He goes to make and sell Falafel until night, and I am responsible for “house” supplies.
I wait in a queue for 4 to 5 hours to get water.
Water for laundry, washing dishes, toilet; you name it!
And unfortunately, sometimes for drinking!
I am suffering from severe kidney stones and mineral water is very much needed for me to heal especially with absence of medicines.
Mineral water is not available. Rarely when available, we cannot afford buying it!
