BROKEN ARM DOODLES
Okay so remember when I said I was in the hospital I eventually got out but they took too much blood in the same spot on my right arm so Iāve been spending the past week painfully not drawing at all and I thought it was because my arm hurts and IT IS BECAUSE MY ARM HURTS BUT SOMEHOW MY RENT BRAINROT OVERPOWERED MY PHYSICAL FUCKING PAIN so not only am I not able to draw but I am not able to draw anything that isnāt Rent right now. Do you know how stupid that sounds. Because the result is whatever this shit is

Hereās an extra doodle cause I came up with Rogerās pupils dilating when I was drawing that sweater doodle. You obviously canāt see Markās pupils through the glasses but for Mimi hers only dilates when she does a lil pouty face/trying to convince someone. Everyone elses would work the same as Rogerās to the ones they love most but for Maureen I like to imagine hers dilates hyperactively whenever like when a cat suddenly gets zoomies

Trust me it was very hard for me not to make him yellow (Itās my favorite color, Crutchieās my favorite newsie) but luckily my second most favorite color is lime green and really it does just fit him more. Heās not the sunshine hes more like the grass you lay on to bathe in it yknow. Also I wouldnāt know what color to make Racetrack LMAO

Yes I amā¦ The story speaks to me as a person living in an economically challenged country and has been working since they were 11. I also happen to like street rats??? (Been into Ramshackle, The Black Ravens from Professor Layton, now Newsies) so I guess it was always bound to happen š Guess my favorite newsie his name starts with a C and ends with a rutchie
^^^ My early designs for them drawn after watching the live and movie versions. The most I changed was Spot since I found it hard to mix his live and movie versions (I like his personality and influence in the movie but also like his appearance in the live). I did know though I would give him a skin condition to really drive in his nickname āSpotā to make it cooler (like how I gave vitiligo to Mush cause one of the reasons for his name is that his skin looked like oatmeal). After deciding I would give Mush vitiligo I wanted to divert what Spot has and settled on Melasma. It fits his color pallete and style more!
