How a Fanfiction is Born

So refresh my memory if I'm wrong, but at the end of Naruto, after Kakashi passed the torch to his sensei's son, the ex-copy nin went on a vacation, right? And we saw him responding to Naruto's call over a phone at a hotel, right....? Weelll......what if Uzuki Yuugao had asked Kakashi to look into a murder that had happened at that particular hotel 3 weeks prior involving a chuunin, a bottle of wine, and a missing culprit, possibly an ukenin? This investigation will of course get them into shitloads of trouble with wheelbarrows of stolen cash, a possible clue to Jiraiya's last works, Gai doing some digging (possibly literally) back at the Konoha library, and the finding of an old candy wrapper Obito stuffed under the floorboards IN THAT SAME HOTEL fucking over twenty years ago. BAM.
