He's definitely played sports

His parents wanted him to be active while they were out at work so they signed him up for whatever he wanted to play, which was football

But whenever he tells people he knows how to play football they don't believe him because he's usually stuck inside reading or taking care of his dog

Hes definitely like a popular guy

Not in a Steve Harrington typa way but more like a Nancy wheeler type of popular?? Hopefully that makes sense

Like he's smart,thoughtful,attractive,loves dogs,has played a sport, AND LISTENS TO QUEEN???(personal hc!) He's literally the perfect guy

You can't even hate him! If you do you're either some bug he's accidentally stepped on or a weirdo!

Never actually learned how to ride a bike till he was 10

Actually just came up with this one but like I can just imagine his parents were just too busy to teach him sooner

he literally had to rolling down the top of a hill on his bike, which had no training wheels, to figure out how the pedals worked

And the breaks

Hes like a very cheesy guy

But he doesn't see it as necessarily cheesy just more of a i'm-so-inlove-with-you type of thing

He loves giving love letters, sending flowers with your newspaper, calling you whenever you stay home sick from school, buying you milkshakes to share with you and etc etc

Just imagine romance movie couples but irl

And with Billy Showalter

love language is actually gift giving

He loves giving you little treats and nicnacks, he'll even have his dog trained to go to your house and send you letters that way

he's the type to even make you wait a week for a chocolate box he decided to send to you via mail(it melted and he just bought you a new one from the GrabnGo)

Hates walking

As much as I talked about him being in sports, he hates walking

Biking is already enough work as is plus having to walk his dog(which he doesn't mind as much) makes his legs hurt a lot

He will sit down on the sidewalk while you walked ahead of him

You : hello??

Billy : my- my legs

You : yea?

Billy : They hurt-

You : you're such a grandpa, come on your house is across the street

All you really hear is a groan behind you and a bit of shuffling and just see him painfully walking by your side

I'm also thinking of posting some of my yearbook theme designs later?? I don't know, I know they look cool I just love showing off tbh

Bruce loves hanging out with you, being by your side almost 24/7, you know except for when he needs to go to a separate class

Other than that he'd be right next to you almost every minute of the day, talking your ear off and you listening and giving the same energy back. Speaking in and responding to questions about your day, how class was, or what you learned while you were in different classes

" OH! The teacher brought us some cupcakes from the bakery down the street and gave it to us as a celebration for doing so amazingly on the test" he said while pulling out a cupcake making sure no one else saw

" hm? Why are you hiding it Bruce? " you asked wondering why the boy infront of you was suspiciously taking out a normal looking cupcake before you

He would then give it to you before saying that he snuck out another before the teacher could see him, only thinking about you

You both laughed and you thanked him for the kind gesture.

That was a few days ago, that day after school whole walking home

You had been kidnapped by the grabber, struggling I'm his arms before unwillingly passing out in the back of his van

Realizing that after what felt like 3 days, you cried. Hard.

It horrified you, waking up to the dimly lit room, the occasional bug running across the room or when the grabber would be there when you wake up telling you how nice and comfortable you looked while sleeping

You hated it, the way the bed creaked, the rigid walls that felt like a sharp knife to the back whenever you sat up if the grabber came in, the way your legs felt like they've been bent backwards everytime you walked, the way the rain tapped on the "window" you could reach. You hated all of it.

You struggled, looking for whatever you could to help you

Fortunately, you were able to do so. Gaining a little grain of hope because of it, you try to build up on that and find tons of clues and ways to get out

Finding a sort of code on the wall you sneak out when when the door is just a bit cracked open from the last plate he had given you the other day

knowing there'd be a risk of him being just right around the corner waiting for you to try and escape, you took a deep breath in and calmed your nerves so you knew you weren't just gonna go wild if things went south

You walked up quietly, hearing light snores from the mysterious man himself making sure you made yourself invisible to him

walking past him into the living room walking slightly faster to the front door, trying the code in different patterns

" please.. come on.. " getting a little nervous and antsy thinking about all the things your kidnapper would do if he found you trying to escape

Then you thought back to who you missed the most while trapped in this misery pit, Bruce yamada

Missing how he'd tell you all about his classes, how his sister made him some art from school for hin specifically, how he'd compliment you and your smile whenever you laughed at his ridiculous jokes

How he saved you a cupcake when he knew he'd get in trouble for sneaking another one for himself.

You missed him, and you knew that nothing, not even some sick-the-head-kidnapper, was gonna ever stop you from living another day to see his comforting smile.

still struggling, you start to worry again

Letting your thoughts go wild once more

Then you think of the last combination you haven't tried yet

...

...

It worked

see this you open it, and bolt out the door with thr thought of your kidnapper way out of your mind

You never thought you could ever run as fast as you did that night but you did, you ran not knowing where to go hearing the sound of a van pursuing you

" fuck fuck fuck- please " you say lightly under your breath realizing you would never have a real chance of escape if you didn't get to a safe place in a matter of seconds

Realizing your about 10 minutes away from the police station, you ran like your life depended on it.

Which it really did.

You smashed right into the clear doors and opened it as fast as you could regaining control of your own body

" HELP ME "

your voice sounded so soft, your throat sore from not drinking the water he gave you still not trusting him even when he said he didn't put anything in it.

Everyone in the room stood up so quickly and came to your aid, asking if you were alright even if they already knew the answer to it.

" Hun, I'm gonna need you to breath alright? " said the kind lady kneeling down before you

You slowed your breathing, beginning to go slightly light headed. When the lady noticed this she yelled for some water for you

" everything's gonna be alright hun just you wait, you're gonna be okay mhm? " she said to you before you lightly closed your eyes and falling unconscious

you were scared, was that it? Was everything gonna go unanswered? Was the sick man- thing who did this to you gonna go Scott-free?? Were you ever going to even say bye to Bruce? Ever??

...

No, you opened your eyes to a really bright light before you. Noticing light brown curtains and a bedside table besides you, noticing all the notes, treats, and gifts on it.

You look over to the other side of you bed noticing someone you thought you'd never ever see again, Bruce

Without thinking about the tons of wires on you, you jumped up and ontop of the sleeping boy before you without his acknowledgement

" WOAH- IM I WHATS GOING ON " is all he said before he heard your light sobs and feeling a slight wetness on his shoulder realizing you had woken up

" I'm so sorry- I didn't mean to get myself- you know- I just- I'm just so so- " you stopped rambling when he kissed you

shocked he did that you jump back but don't separate from his touch, lightly kissing him back

You missed him, and he missed you. A lot..

He never stopped looking, asking for help anyone who could and always set up new posters I they got damaged from the weather.

He loved you, the way you looked at him, they way you answered the teachers ridiculous questions, the way you laughed at all his jokes, the way you were always so into all his stories even if they were dumb and short. He loved you

And in that moment all the thought where he though that never in a million year would you ever like him back, disappeared.

All his doubts, worries, and negative thinking disintegrated when he felt you hug and feel comfort in his warmth

When he pulled away, he looked in your eyes still feeling like he was on top of the world from what he had just done

After a few seconds of pure-bliss he was pulled straight back down when he cleared his throat and began to talk

" I uh- uhm " all his confidence and energy went into that kiss so he was immediately embarrassed and couldn't look you in the eyes

" You don't have to apoligize for being kidnapped, y/n " he just said whatever came to mind trying to make sure it made sense. " I know it must've been rough, especially when I heard you had just passed out on the desk lady when you ran into the station "

You slightly remember that and blush out of pure embarrassment.

" right, that.. "

He continued on

" Hey, I know it's not the greatest time to ask but I wanted to know that when this is all over maybe you'd want to go out with me to the diner? " he was really hoping that you'd say yes

The silence after that question engulfed the entire room.

You were in your thoughts, thinking about your answer. You thought that maybe this was a dream and you were still asleep.

When you lightly pulled back and gave your wrist a light pinch you realized it wasn't a dream. You were in your thoughts once more..
