Thank you for fictionally depicting Vash Elias Koroyumi's real life via the Saints Row video games.

I wanna take this time to thank Volition for fictionally depicting Vash's life in the form of video games, since his life really happens in a different reality. Your fictional games based on his life allowed his legacy to exist here in some way, which is something I'm grateful for. If it weren't for your game depictions, he would have been much more depressed about his circumstances as my DID headmate due to his actual life not playing out here. Even though there are inaccuracies in all of the games that differ from how things really happened, the games allowed him to feel grounded and still be connected to his loved ones, the Saints, even though they all don't exist here. It's a form of therapy to him.

Again, thank you Volition.

Vash's life will continue of course, but it will no longer be fictionally depicted in our reality through the Saints Row video games.

it’s always been the joke that matt was allowed in the syndicate because he could set up loren’s phone for him or whatever, and in a way i believe that sentiment holds true. i think matt and the deckers are a small group, and they more or less act as tech support for the syndicate in steelport. matt originally caught loren’s attention back when he and his hacker group were pulling some impressive stunts back in england; mostly things like taking over certain sites and stealing money and always leaving an untraceable calling card. always with the theatrics. 

i believe kinzie was originally tasked with looking into killbane and the luchadores and their drug racket, then matt caught wind of this and notified killbane who told him to take care of it, which led to kinzie getting set up and fired from the FBI. matt wanted to impress killbane and loren since, at the time, it was one of his first major tasks for the syndicate. thus began kinzie and matt’s feud. the deckers themselves are much smaller in number, and they make up for that with the more…..malicious programs they create. they’re running things in cyberspace. i’m getting flashbacks to troy’s journal from sr1 talking about “oh the gangs are forming ONLINE now” etc etc. but like. yeah. that’s the deckers. not a lot of them and so their force comes from their hacking and viruses.  

the thing is. i don’t believe loren or killbane trust matt enough to run a "real" gang. he can be in charge of his small group of a few dozen or so, along with all his little online operations, but to them, running an actual gang is for the men. he’s just a child. literally. he’s weak and scared, and killbane specifically uses this to his advantage in order to have matt always on his side. he’d been planning to overtake the syndicate from loren for awhile, and he knew he needed matt in order to do that. he’s taken him under his wing, and it’s all part of killbane’s scheme in the rewrite. killbane and his son matt whom he hates.
