my dedication leads nowhere. if only people were willing to repent...
people seem to think their mental illnesses absolve them of all sin. you will be judged the same. don't you get that?
The binturong of clinical depression
since they asked so politely for nobody to "start a war" in their inbox and notes, i will refrain from addressing them directly. ⌒‿ ⌒
i really wonder, what's the point in headcanoning a jashling whose song is specifically about the fact that being a cisgender man who is into traditionally feminine things does not make one transfeminine, as transfeminine? and why would you allow that headcanon into your space, while claiming you are fully aware of the song's meaning?
i suppose its trivial of me to talk about this, especially when there are larger problems in this community i must purge. i still find it strange, though. are people really that stupid?

Chonny Jash being tired of cccc/hms fans while
SOME
people drag it out and only post about hms will always be funny to me.
Me when I lie.
He's not "tired of CCCC fans," he wishes his other music would surpass it because it's old and he's grown. Nobody's "dragging it," people are allowed to like things after YOU think it should die out. CCCC is popular because it's good. Many, likely even most, found CJ through this album. But please, continue to ride your high horse and pretend you're so much better than CCCC fans.
WOAH hold on. I do not think i’m better than CCCC fans. I was a CCCC-only obsessed person for a few months. I THINK (my opinion, not trying to attack anyone who thinks differently) that people should indulge in other Chonny Jash. Honestly, in this post I was talking about people who ONLY like CCCC/HMS, and hate/dislike other Chonny Jash. I know some cool people (especially on tumblr) that mostly only post about HMS. And that’s fine, because people like that have expressed that they like his other music! I’m also not saying that Chonny Jash hates people that only like CCCC/HMS, i’m agreeing with your statement of him wishing that his other music would surpass CCCC in popularity. Even I found Chonny Jash through CCCC, as my partner and friends liked the album at the time.
tldr: I’m not trying to personally attack anyone. I don’t think i’m above HMS-exclusive fans. I just think it’s a bit ironic. Sorry for the harsh tone!
There is no way to incorrectly word a post that makes it go from "I personally wish people would post about this other art from the same artist" to "this artist doesn't like this portion of his fanbase and it's funny that they keep doing the thing he hates." Your original post is condescending. You did not say "I wish CCCC fans would listen to other Jash music," you said "Chonny Jash is tired of CCC fans," which isn't even true. You appealed to somebody else's credibility in order to support your point and attempt to make people feel bad for only liking CCCC. I personally only like CCCC, I listen to his other music but I'm not a huge fan. Your post was intentionally misleading. Edit it, remove it, or expect more backlash.
do you really think someone should censor their opinion just because you personally do not agree with it? do you seriously have the audacity to come onto someone's blog and threaten them for stating their subjective opinion? at your grown age, i would have expected you to be able to comprehend that the world does not revolve around you.
There were no threats made. I didn't censor anyone. They said something rude on the internet about a demographic I fit into, and I called them out on it. At my "grown age," I am very capable of comprehending the idea of "fandom etiquette," something a lot of younger fans in the CJ spaces seem to lack. The world sure doesn't revolve around me, but it doesn't bend to you, either. Being young will never be an excuse for being a jerk.
is this... not a threat? does it not fit into the definition of a threat? is this not you telling someone to censor themselves or else bad things will happen to them? is this not undeniably a threat?
you're using the excuse of fandom etiquette to ride upon your moral high horse. there's a common rule in fandom etiquette that states if you don't like something, you shouldn't read or otherwise interact with it. why aren't you following that rule if you're so attached to the concept? doesn't etiquette in general require you to not go harass people for a simple opinion?
There was no harassment involved, I fear. It was not a threat, you cannot use repetition to make it seem like it was. I've made it clear many times now that when you say something ignorant online, you can expect backlash. This IS fandom etiquette, not punching down on entire communities and then doubling down when somebody calls you out on it.
I've checked your blog, Dulcet. Everything you post is about some sort of problem you're not involved in that you perpetuate. You claim to be entertained by drama. You dodge answers by asking onslaughts of unrelated questions. Do you think I'll let you waste my time like this? Go find someone else to turn into your scapegoat.
...wow, you're even more condescending than me! go ahead with thinking you're superior to everyone else because you follow made-up rules for communities surrounding made-up stories. maybe if you look hard enough into your precious little fandom etiquette, you would figure out that you should let people have opinions that differ from your own. ⌒‿ ⌒
Except you haven't been following along at all, have you? The original post was matter-of-fact, and I called the OP out on how disrespectful they were being. They tried to convince me that the post said something it absolutely didn't (going from "Chonny Jash doesn't like CCCC fans" to "I personally think people should listen to other CJ songs" somehow) and absolutely doubled down when I told them that the original post did not say that. I never said they couldn't have an opinion. The first line of that "threat" as you claim is telling them to edit the post, which is absolutely an option. Saying ignorant things on the internet leads to backlash. Are you understanding yet, Dulcet?
i thought you said you weren't going to waste your time on me, arguing over trivial things that have no impact on our lives? while it was poorly phrased, op was still stating an opinion. they just so happened to phrase it like it was objective, which... doesn't make it so. i could say i think cats are real (as in, it is my opinion that cats are real) but that doesn't make the existence of cats subjective and debatable... unless you want to debate on if anything exists, which is entirely a different topic that i will refrain from elaborating on.
what definitely does not exist, however, is the need to continue arguing on this matter. you call me out for being entertained by drama, but you indulge in this meaningless argument. so...?
also, here's the definition of a threat, from several websites:
notice how they all specify that a threat tends to be conditional? "if you don't do x, then you will face y"? that is exactly what you said. thus, what you said fits under the definition of a threat.
You are making things up now. You, and anybody who's seen this reblog chain, can tell that OPs original post was not an opinion. It was condescending, and it lied on Chonny Jash's name to make a statement. You can attempt to defend it all you want, but that won't change the nature of what it is.
Sure, my reblog was threatening in nature, but that threat wasn't on my behalf. I never claimed I'd do anything. I have said that it was a warning. Tell me, have I hurt OP? Have I gotten their post taken down? Have I sent floods of harassment their way?
I doubt you've got the answers to these questions, because you're an observer at best, who loves engaging in discourse. You'll argue devil's advocate for love of the game.
...you are trying to claim a fourteen year old is intentionally trying to spread disinformation about a creator, when at best they just don't have the vocabulary to word their thoughts correctly. who is a fourteen year old able to condescend on, anyways? their frontal lobe is only a little above halfway developed.
you are scarily intent on trying to paint a child as completely in the wrong. is this how you view all children who make mistakes?
Yes! Children can be wrong. If nobody tells them they're wrong, they won't learn. Do you suggest children should be left to say whatever hateful things they want without being told they've done something inappropriate? Do you assume a 17 year old's prefrontal cortex is fully developed? Do you assume 14 year olds are incapable of being rude or intentionally malicious? Is their age a shield from all criticism, Dulcet? Is my age a weapon?
Paint me like I'm evil, I don't mind. 14 year olds aren't supposed to be interacting with me anymore anyways, I've updated my DNI.
you're the one who initiated the conversation with op. i suggest you follow your own dni? also, do you expect children to behave completely logically? do you expect people going through puberty and hormonal changes to act the most correctly in every situation? of course children need to be taught the difference between right and wrong, but we... typically do that without berating and threatening them. like normal fucking people.
