when i get an accurate picture in my mind im going to talk about how tapping into goddess hylia impacts zelda, and what she looks like when she does (bc the game gives us a v humanized look at her when she does so) and the aftermath of it all.

#tonight is all about making icons / reading some lore / reading other things #but i am thinking about her deified form.#it is hard to look at her when she is bright and glowing; it is like looking at a thousand suns.#it also takes a mighty toll on her; she has a Human body; human organs but divine blood. she has #fainting spells and dizziness after tapping into hylia's power; which is why she does not like to do it often/prefers to fight with sword n #shield/ only uses her power to heal and enchant (which takes significantly less power than a Full Transformation)#she is not monstrous. but she is Divine; and this divinity burns and burns and burns.#when she speaks as Deity there are conjoined voices. she is both terrifying and awe-inspiring.

to act like zelda is my original character or to be normal.

#watching a twilight princess gameplay and making icons.#deciding that while this blog //is// set after botw it's based on my own whims on what / who zelda Is.#i adore reimagining characters; picking and choosing for a very specific curation of them.#looking at the renditions of her character visually i enjoy her in twilight princess most and yeah botw is a close second esp her outfits #and wind waker was the first zelda game i watched so of course that takes special importance on this blog #as its own separate verse / past life that i wish to deeply explore.#and the environment of hyrule (the country and the kingdom ( 'the kingdom of hyrule' not 'hyrule the kingdom') is based on lotr and other #fantastical media #i don't think Everywhere is ruled under the kingdom as botw suggests #i think that's silly.#and outside of hyrule is many other lands and some oceans!!!#im also reading through the encyclopedia and the historium #so .. lots of reading to be done !!! i won't even try to put together a timeline stringing together //all// her lives #bc that's a lot ! and it feels like a waste of time kinda.#so i will instead maybe do a timeline of just. //my// zelda.#also i will have more to say on .. zelda's Co-Existence with hylia; though they are Separate in Being; they are Congruent in Existence.#i think zelda would have trouble seeing herself as hylia; hence her trouble unlocking hylia's powers (but what if i #did away with that trouble and replaced it with more of a struggle #to simply see herself as Divine. an internal battle of self - divinity)

the thing i love ( also ) about zelda is that while she is technically old, having been alive for more than a century or so, she is still in essence and existence young. physically, she looks to be twenty - four, fresh off of childhood and just beginning to learn what adulthood looks and feels like. she is still green, in both her place in the world and interactions with it, though her manners say otherwise.

#she is reserved in mannerisms and yet there is a bounding curiosity within her.#i liken her to first spring because of this !!!! the restraint of the way it spreads; the beginnings of greenery turning and blossoming #also i may be changing my url.#zelda is quite literally.... a little girl who //has// to grow up.

my existence on this site runs primarily on character development, which is why i talk about my character more than anything. I LIKE TO DEVELOP THEIR EXISTENCE + WORLD.

ZELDA IS NOT A MINOR, but even then, i won’t be doing anything sexual re: her. there WILL be content such as (fantasy) violence.

speaking of fantasy, THAT’S WHAT THIS BLOG IS. there will be a modernized verse in which zelda is more digestible for non-fantasy related things, but even these verses will have some magic realism to them.

while i’m pulling a good amount of information from the video games, 98% of the content on this blog will come from my mind. I DON’T KNOW SHIT ABOUT LEGEND OF ZELDA past botw (the only one i’ve played) and i don’t care to play any other games. i downloaded the hyrule hystoria + i’m buying the zelda encyclopedia for worldbuilding purposes, but im picking and choosing what i use re: hyrule lore. the basics of what hyrule is / who zelda is comes from the video games.
