Tbh, you might be restraining yourself thinking about what is and isn't romance, but I also agree, Kusuo is not a kisser.

He isn't opposed to touch though:

Sitting close

Holding hands

Hugging

Forehead press (my personal favorite)

I don't think he'd be opposed to dates; that's just spending time together one on one, which is intimate.

Playing games together

Getting and sharing food

Cook/bake for him

Reading in the same room

Sharing books (maybe there's a hidden message in there or that book means a lot)

Watching a movie/ show (he would appreciate it if you haven't seen it so you don't spoil it for him)

Also, don't take him so seriously. He's a little goofy:

He's the type that would affectionately insult someone

He jokes around when he's comfortable

I don't know how true it is, but I read somewhere that he writes with his left hand around people that knows he's psychic and with his right when around people that don't know.

I think he finds it fun when he's challenged, like someone genuinely being able to outsmart him.

His fear of bugs, use it. Be nice to him and get rid of the bug... bond over your hatred of them... or mock him, but be prepared for the consequences.

How serious are we getting here?

One of my more seriously intimate headcanons for an OC with a troubled past is if you wanted him to know everything, he'd remove his gloves to look at their memories.

Another one is taking care of him when he breaks his limiter. He can't move comfortably without fear of hurting someone so he needs help and possibly his wheelchair.

Short answer: Yes

Long answer: I ship her with Rifuta Imu and Saiko Metori.

Here me out:

TeruImu is very cute and there's a lot of potential there for the both of them for self-development and how they feel about themselves. I like their dynamic, and Rifuta's struggles with comphet make me sad.

Teruhashi and Saiko (does this ship even exist 🥹) would work out, especially after his self development, and there should have been more interaction between them considering Saiko went out of way to join PK for her. There's a lot to see here too because I'd have liked to see how he'd treat her after realizing people can't be bought. And she said she'd have said yes, if she didn't have feelings for Saiki; but there's only but so long someone can wait for someone that doesn't show signs of reciprocation. And this would have been another point to show her growth, that she'd see him for the person he is and not his money.
