"The Disastrous Life of Saiki K.", a hugely popular manga by Shuichi Aso, was serialized for six years in "Weekly Shonen Jump" (published by Shueisha), and has sold over 9 million copies across 26 volumes. The anime adaptation of "The Disastrous Life of Saiki K.", which began airing in July 2016, will celebrate its 10th anniversary in 2026.

July 4, 2016 (Month)

The first season of the TV anime "The Disastrous Life of Saiki K." began airing on TV Tokyo and its affiliates, with a double broadcast schedule in the mornings, alongside the children's information variety program "Oha Suta," and late at night.

January 16, 2018 (Tue)

The second season of the TV anime "The Disastrous Life of Saiki K." has begun airing on TV Tokyo and its affiliates.
