Basically Natsu is kinda an ass and something he does is call everyone baka and then the ppl he's rly close to (yes even Erza) he calls them things like baka-chan for example.

but like Wendy and then later on Lucy, he doesn't bc Wendy is like his little sister and then he slowly goes from calling Lucy a baka to Luce.
