Avril’s footsteps collided with the stepping stones, each step a bit louder than before. She balanced herself on one foot on the stone just for the hell of it as her eyes wandered around the townhouse, taking in every bit of scenery. She noticed Sage lying lazily on a chair swing and decided to take a seat next to her. “I would never take you away from such a beautiful place,” She reassured her friend, “But mind if I join ya in your lazy day?” 

“Please?” Sage encouraged, lifting her legs as the other sat down at her side before placing them back, resting them on her friends lap. “What brings you to my humble abode?” she chimed, smiling widely at Avril as the chair swung from it’s newest occupant. “If you’re here for a movie day, popcorn and facemasks, you came to the right placee, my dear.”

It was a gorgeous day, one Sage decided to spend outside enjoying everything nature had to offer. It was so peaceful, she almost had dozed off on many occasions, watching the clouds float past in the sky. She rested in her swinging chair, one that used to reside at her parents home, but luckily for her they allowed Sage to take it and bring it to her own (It was small, but it was her home and she was so proud of herself for that). Hearing footsteps collide against the stepping stones that adorned her naturestrip, she playfully urged them to not make her get up and be active. “It’s my lazy day, please tell me you’re here to sit next to me and not drag me away? I’m so comfortable.”
