Back to black and white. Unless I have a vision for colors from the start, I prefer working without colors. And I think this type of weather really lends itself to black and white art!

I've been coloring more than usual lately, and even more so I've been into doing so in a painterly style. I wouldn't say it's something I'm actively practicing - I'm just doing what feels fun for now! I'll look into studying digital painting and improving once I feel like it lol.

I found this quote fitting for modern travelers, that need reminding to show respect while traveling. Our flights, our interactions with locals and our wear and tear on the environment we tourist need to be things we reflect upon and take responsibility for.

This series has a name now and it's To be Human! These illustrations are all inspired by environmentalism in different ways. The broken contract is an expression we work a lot with in my studies to become a nature guide. This is my interpretation of the contract we have to work on restoring. The human soul trying to find its way back and reconnect with nature.
