Fear is stronger than love:

How many times did I let my fear not let me show up as authentic as I needed to be

Some say love conquers all

Does it conquer fear of abandonment

Fear of rejection

Fear of the unknown

Fear of judgment

How many times have we put faith in another human being to be let down, embarrassed, and left confused

It only hits different if we know for sure

Do we love blindly to expect betrayal is that even possible?

Do we not love at all

I say

It can’t be simple

But it sure as hell ain’t complicated

How can anyone truly love if we can’t get past fear?

The only love I’ve seen like that before is a mother’s love.

Anything else scares the hell out of me

Somehow we choose to live anyway inspite of

But what is love then?

Just an emotion maybe?

The same as fear

Who can we trust if we can’t trust ourselves to love for real?
