Battle Couple Hallura Headcanons
Since i CANNOT draw armor, I decided to do a headcanon post for day 5 of @safehalluraweek
They have MANDATORY pre-battle kisses
They keep their armor next to each others. The others think it’s just for convenience sake, but to them, it’s a huge sentiment
Once, Allura grabbed Hunk’s helmet by mistake and Hunk had to use hers.
This happens more than once
Eventually, this becomes just something they do when they’re going to be separated on a mission
They have run through a battlefield holding hands on so many occasions it’s kind of ridiculous
If one of them gets injured in battle, the other will literally bridal carry the other to the healing pods
One time they switch bayards for fun
the two are very in sync, fighting in such a rhythm that Haggar theorizes that they literally have a psychic connection
HUNK DOES THE THING WHERE HE PICKS UP ALLURA AND SWINGS HER AROUND AND SHE TAKES OUT A SHIT LOAD OF SENTRIES

Allura fighting on Hunk’s shoulders
Standard “holy shit we SURVIVED” kiss
Hunk laughs triumphantly after taking out a bunch of sentries and Allura is just standing there…..starry eyed
Listen. AFTER BATTLE HUGS.
they just. Hold each other
As if the other one’s gonna disappear if they let go
because sometimes they almost DID disappear
IN Battle puns. Like they’re fighting a gladiator and it gets really angry and Hunk says “uh oh, we made him MAD-iator” and Allura thinks it’s so funny that she bypasses laughter completely and just starts crying
they hit just about 50% of their relationship milestones during battle because that is when emotions are high
Remember Will and Elizabeth’s Wedding scene in At Worlds End? you guys know exactly where I’m going with this
