So I'm doing free commissions to elevate my work and canonize my style. I'll be drawing up reference sheets for free for people I feel need it the most.

I draw humans, anthro, and feral characters.

What you'll get:

- One reference sheet with 2 poses (back and front), head feature, name and character info, and color swatch.

- Minimal shading/rendering (optional)

- Simple background (optional)

- (If you don't already have one) A custom character!

How it works:

NOT FIRST COME FIRST SERVE, but not everyone will get one. I will choose the entries who meet these qualifications:

A: Are in the most need of a new reference sheet (has one that is rough, outdated, or has none)

B: Have the best idea of who their character is and what they look like

You DO NOT need to have a reference sheet already! I'm offering to work off of description.

Slots are to give you a time frame.

RULES:

- SUBMISSIONS MUST MEET THE TOS IN MY BIO (Carrd link)

- You need to have a CLEAR idea of what you want your character to look like. I encourage you to have personality elements in mind and to find reference images on Pinterest for vibes/aesthetics. The better I think your idea is the more likely I'll be to draw it!

- Cool patterns and features are a welcome challenge, but try to keep it simple. Excessive details, accessories and complex textures will lower your likelihood of being chosen.

- Be respectful, I'm doing this for free.

- No guilt trips or stories, I'm not choosing based off circumstance and I'd rather not have people telling me personal things.

- I will not design you a character that is derivative or too reminiscent of any popular characters.

- If you knowingly show me AI reference material you are automatically disqualified.

HOW TO ENTER:

In the comments (or in DMS but comments preferred to boost the post):

A: Include your current reference along with any changes you want made to the current design.

or B: A description of your character. Be as detailed as necessary.

If I decide to draw your OC I will DM you! Otherwise don't expect a response.

Time frame:

Basically until I get tired of doing it. I'm pinning this post and will take submissions intermittently. I will update the post as slots fill/empty.

It's a little rough but it was either that or never finish it, lol.

It's about a girl whose father spontaneously vanishes, leaving her in their lonely library in the mountains with a little robotic companion.

I got the idea from a dream I had, which was initially about toxic doomed yuri, but the concept seemed cool so I incorporated it into an existing world I've been developing and started fleshing out the plot and characters. I thought I'd just release it short chapter by short chapter as a fun side project.
