Other than being a hot freaky woman covered in blood (as if that isn't all you need), is there any other reason you like Orin so much? I'm curious.
YES, there is!!! Outside of her having such a gorgeous design and Maggie Robertson doing an amazing job with her performance as Orin, what I find so compelling about Orin the Red that makes me like her so much is the tragedy of her character and how she never had a chance from the get-go, born into a crazy murder cult to simply be a sacrifice and nothing more, only for that to fail, child Orin killing her mother instead, which you could only imagine how traumatic that is for a child, and unlike the dark urge, she was never given the chance to experience anything outside of the cult, it's simply being all she knows, her identity and actions revolving around Bhaal and even Sarevok, in her desperate attempt of getting their approval, something she was never going to get as neither of them cared for her or her artistic murders.
It’s even more heartbreaking when you’re playing the Dark Urge and tell her about Sarevok's orders, getting to watch as she has a complete breakdown where it seems just for a minute she has doubts before she’s forced into the slayer form against her own will, and I could go on, but this post would be too long of me explaing all the sad things about Orin that make me like her so much
