Students at the University of Missouri (Mizzou) are being threatened with their lives. Members of the KKK have reportedly been walking around campus with various weapons including guns, batons, bats, and other blunt objects.

Many on Twitter report that Speaker’s Square was filled with (mostly) white men screaming and threatening any black students that show up to class tomorrow, 11/11. Gunshots have also been reported.

University of Missouri is saying that this is no actual emergency, but many students are fleeing campus to seek shelter elsewhere.

President Wolfe didn’t resign because he felt angry or upset about the racial slurs spoken and outright racism @ Mizzou. He did so not because a black student was going an hunger strike. No ma'am, no sir. He did so because the football players of Mizzou threatened to sit out the games as long he was President. He resigned because it was going to literally cost him. Exactly 1 million if the Mizzou Tigers sat out of the game. No moral concerns here folks, just cold hard cash 💰. No fault to the football players @ all. Just to the system that places more importance on financial gain than the concerns of students who put money and time into said institution 🏫.

super ironic that mykaylajohns is “complaining on the Internet”. just a little heads up. the Internet is the best place to obtain and share information now because of the convenience of technology. i understand completely that these issues lie in all other places, being a minority myself. but until the issue is fixed black lives undeniably matter right now the most.
