ok heres one i got. in this short https://youtube.com/shorts/2wkLr0XLHuM they make a joke about deteriorating after rehearsing for 7 hours with no breaks. what if theyre doing this because they realize they disappear for each other if theyre not playing so they try and play for as long as possible so that they can stay for as long as possible

that’s definitely a cool idea that I think I might be able to incorporate in some way. I think they might try to do that as a plan to somehow get to know each other better but there’s also another way I can kinda incorporate the idea. With how I kinda picture the magical rehearsal room working, they’re all sort of tied together in a way when playing in the room. So if one of them keeps wanting to play, all of them will kind of have the urge to keep going and it takes conscious effort for them to not join in. So if one of them (and I have an idea who but I don’t wanna spoil it in case I do use this) just doesn’t want to leave and keeps playing, all of them will keep playing until they really can’t stand it and depending if they’re in the room or not, they’ll disappear.
I don’t think that they’ll be able to do 7 hours tho. At best I think it’d be like this vid:
But I’m still figuring out how the room works as well so some things might change ior have another aspect to ‘em.
