Sad Bucket List Items

This is a bucket. Anything you don't want to take with you into 2024, feel free to drop it in the bucket. I will be burning the contents (with Hellfire) at exactly 11:59pm on New Year's Eve.

We are F/F couple who own a small house in the woods in western WA. We're looking for a female roommate to share space with. We have cats, horses, chickens and there will be fluffy chicks in the spring. We like to garden and you can claim a spot if you want to help.

Indoor cats and pets in cages/terrariums/tanks are okay, but no dogs allowed.

No smokers please, I'm allergic.

We are both artists and writers with tons of hobbies and I have a home business [10+ years on Etsy]- don't expect a meticulously tidy space. We're also both huge Minecraft nerds.

The bathroom is shared and you can use our washer/dryer and claim our mini fridge if you want it. Rent is $660 a month and that's 1/3 of our monthly mortgage. Power is usually $65 a month and you won't be expected to add to it unless you're running up the bill with a space heater or something.

We are both vaccinated.

@theinfamousdoctorf is in some serious need of money ASAP! Their hours were cut at work and they’re struggling to keep the roof over their head.

The idea is that on April 15th - World Art Day - artists only post black images to draw awareness to something people take as given: a steady stream of visual content on their dashes. 

We are drawing attention to the ongoing issue of artists being disrespected and their art being stolen or reposted. Let’s make people aware of what the Internet would look like if artists stopped making art because they get discouraged or too scared to post for fear of having their work stolen. 

For one day, let’s flood dashes everywhere with gaping black spaces where art is supposed to be. 

HOW TO JOIN:

On April 15th post completely black images everywhere, on whichever platform it pleases you, and tag them with #artblackout.

Inform yourself on the issue of art theft, reposting and giving credit and spread the word!
