Stopped at 3rd Cousin in SF! Uni Crème Brûlée: petrossian caviar, yuzu tobiko, trout roe, toast

Found this little gem in Tustin called Sushi Bear. Delicious, fresh fish! Each sashimi slice they serve is seriously an inch thick. Ordered a platter with 10 pieces of nigiri, 6 pieces of sashimi & a specialty roll – only $35! Definitely a must try. 

Mr Holmes Bakehouse smoked salmon croissant. Flavorful, flakey, delish! 

Duck duck & more duck – Seriously salivating as I write about my meal(s) at Chalkboard in Healdsburg. On my trip we went there twice (per my request) because I couldn't get enough of their Cocoa Trifoglio with duck confit, chives, madeira, foie gras butter & hazelnut (top right) & their parpadelle with short rib. 

If you’re ever in Healdsburg, CA & you have a yearning for seafood, Willi’s Seafood and Raw Bar is a must try! The charred rare ahi tuna sat on thinly sliced cucumber, avocado spread & a delightful truffled soy sauce. We also tried Willi’s Maine Lobster Roll. OH MY LORD was it amazing! The bread was soft & fluffy. The huge chunks of lobster were lathered in a garlic butter sauce & mixed in with crisp lettuce and thinly sliced pieces of fennel. 

MUST EAT #1: I ate the most delicious pizza in New York City. It was from a small Italian place on 9th Ave in the Hell's Kitchen area called Capizzi. IT WAS PHENOMENAL!!! The crust was thin and toasty...the ingredients were so fresh...and the sangria was out of this world!!
