Does anyone else wake up thinking about how they’re going to add color to their lives and resent their loved ones who don’t do the same

I don’t think the ability to speak from the center of your existence is something people want to experience. It may be noble but it is not wanted. People get uncomfortable. They only want to experience what they can see. The best example is when a religious person speaks around a non-religious scientist. The latter becomes uncomfortable and wants to steer the conversation away. They’re afraid of what’s inside the other person, or more likely, they’re afraid of reaching into the center of their own existence and finding nothing. Science is safer because you can see it and you can trick yourself into thinking it’s substantial. Call me crazy but I actually don’t think it is, having been in the field for a long time now. Sure, there is a material translation into therapies and products but is is substantial for the soul? No. Theorizing isn’t real for the soul. This is why I can’t get past this position where I’m skeptical of my own research. Maybe because I’m trying to listen to my own soul and what it needs. Which is not science. Instead it’s the center of my existence being heard. I guess.
