Kiss sanity good-bye

I don’t know what staying strong meant till I lost myself. I had to give up a few times have my heart shatter to pieces. Something always stopped me. I’ve realised I’ve came such a long way with my mental health that I can openly talk about it. Who would of know that 6 months latter I would be stable again. I told myself just before the near year hit that I would do what makes me happy. Not what makes everyone else happy. It was a great start to the new year till things got shaken up. I almost lost my mind again but then I paused for a second. It wasn’t me! It was who I was surrounded by. Constant negativity! I took myself out of situations I didn’t feel comfortable or confident in. I started working harder. My motivation to work harder is only sprung by my fathers words of telling me I’d never become anything. Yeah right! I’d never become anything. Then a really old close friend told me I was nothing again. The negativity again. I couldn’t stand being put down. Now I’m working towards a career after finishing my first degree, Ill be studying for another degree. I’ve lost most of my social life and only have a hand full of friends left. Don’t know what love means anymore either. I don’t think I can ever fall in love again. BUT I’m determined to love myself and be the best me I can ever be.
