The crowd boos. I begin to walk off in shame, when a voice speaks and commands silence from the room.

i dont ! i was gonna make one once i had at least one seperate oneshot out for each of the brothers, but i never got around to doing that 😞 i might make one now though if there are people who want me to!!

In which the brothers and MC try to divert Satan’s attention away from a new book.

“He’s been like this since morning.” You cocked your head, observing the demon in front of you. “Are we absolutely sure he’s still breathing?”

“Possibly.” Belphegor let out a disinterested sigh from the spot next to you. “Though I wouldn’t bet my money on it.”

You turned to look at the purple haired devil. “What do you usually do when this happens?” You could see hints of a smile threatening to break out on Belphie’s face, the demon choosing to reply with a small shrug.

“We just leave him be, I guess.” He stuffed his hands into the pockets of his jeans. “He’ll be done in… a few days.”

“Won’t he die?!” You could feel your eyes growing wide in an instant. “He hasn’t gotten up to eat, drink or go to the bathroom ever since that goddamn package arrived.”

“He’s a demon. He’ll be fine.” You could feel Belphegor’s hand rubbing your shoulder comfortingly, though you knew he found your concern hilarious. “Satan has been waiting for this book to come out for over 200 years. He won’t rest until he reads it from cover to cover. Multiple times.”

“Wait…? 200 years…? How is that possible?” Your mouth fell agape.

“Well, the Devildom’s authors don’t exactly have any time restrictions, since they’re uhhh… dead?” Belphegor let out a snort. “We’re in hell, in case you forgot.”

“Oh, my sweet Belphie. I drink to forget, but I always remember.” You sighed. “And there’s really no way to break him out of this… trance?” You pinched the bridge of your nose in frustration.

“Oh, honey, don’t even bother!” Asmodeus piped up from one of the armchairs behind you. The demon was watching the situation unfold with a sly smirk on his lips. “When Satan gets like this, it’s impossible trying to get his attention. Trust me, we’ve all tried.”

“And what exactly did you try?” You let your eyes wander around after the question left your lips, almost as if the answer was hidden somewhere between the hundreds of books surrounding you. The four of you were in the library: Satan had his nose buried in one of the fattest books you’ve ever seen, unaware of anything that was happening around him. You and Belphegor were standing a little further away, the latter having been dragged into the library against his own will. And Asmo was just there. As he always was.

“Banging pans and pots near his head, dragging the armchair outside in pouring rain, trying to pry the book out of the metal death grip that is his fingers… Heck, Mammon even tried to set the library on fire once.” Belphegor responded. “Should I continue?”

“No, I get it.” You shook your head. “And how much do you want to bet that I could make him look up from his book?”

“We just told you that it’s impossible.” Belphie’s confusion was evident on his face. “Do you want to lose so badly?”

“Hmm. I actually think my chances are pretty good here.” Your voice was dripping with confidence, a mischievous plan forming in your mind. “If I win, you have to custom make me a body pillow of Diavolo, alright?”

“PFFT, yeah sure.” The demon in question agreed. “And if I win, which I will, you’ll have to sleep in my bed for the whole week.”

“Mhm, anything you want, pretty boy.” You winked at Belphegor.

“Hey! I want in on the action too!” Asmodeus’ high pitched voice sounded from behind you, causing you to break out in a giggle.

“Alright, boys.” You started walking towards Satan. “Watch and learn.” You shot one last look over your shoulder towards the two demons, who were curiously watching your ever move.

It was an easy plan. One that was bound to succeed purely because you told yourself a thousand times that failure simply wasn’t acceptable.

And so, as you walked closer and closer towards the blond - haired demon, you prepped yourself mentally for what was about to happen.

“Hey, Satan.” You called out, just in case the demon suddenly decided that he needed an unlikely break from reading. Naturally, you were met with no response whatsoever, which was a good sign for you to keep moving. You only stopped when your knees hit the side of the armchair Satan was sitting in.

The demon in front of you was completely and utterly gorgeous and if you didn’t take note of that earlier you sure did now. His blond eyebrows were furrowed in concentration mirrored by his emerald eyes, which were quickly scanning through every word on the page in front of them. His golden hair fell neatly on his head, lightly swishing from side to side when Satan moved his head.

You almost started to regret what you were about to do, not wanting to break the serene atmosphere surrounding Satan.

Keyword. Almost.

Deciding to stop wasting any more time, you leaned in, taking Satan’s chin in your hand and lifting it to meet your face. You could see the daze in his eyes slowly starting to be overtaken by confusion, but you weren’t about to let him process the disruption you caused and ruin your masterplan. So, you did the only logical thing you could do.

You leaned in even closer, feeling your nose brush up against his and letting your lips meet in a soft kiss. The plan in your head was calculated: kiss Satan, divert his attention from the book, run for your life. But boy were you bad at math. What you didn’t take into consideration was the fact that Satan might actually try to kiss you back.

Which he did.

You were about to pull away when you felt a pair of strong arms wrap around your waist, pulling you into the demon’s lap. You squealed in surprise, but the sound was quickly swallowed up by Satan’s lips. You could feel his grip tightening around your waist and only then did you realize just how much trouble you were in.

Satan’s kiss was hungry and fast, tongue effortlessly slipping into your mouth and dominating your own. Your senses were filled with him. His taste, his touch, his scent… You could smell firewood and old books, the odour somehow intoxicating you.

Your fingers tangled in his hair, tugging on the blond strands. The demon seemed to enjoy that, softly groaning into your mouth just for you to hear. Kissing Satan made you feel excited and left you wanting for more… No, craving for more.

You only pulled away when you felt your lungs screaming for air. You were out of breath, panting like you’d just finished a marathon. Satan’s expression mirrored your own, a rosy blush painting his cheeks.

“Why did you do that?” He whispered, never breaking eye contact.

“You’ve been reading all day and I missed you.” You whispered back, feeling a smile creeping up your face.

“Well, that’s one way to get my attention.” Satan smiled back. Then, his eyes wandered behind you, noticing something in the distance. “What are they doing here?”

You felt yourself freezing up, having completely forgotten about the two demons you made a bet with. You slowly turned your head to look over your shoulder, dreading to see Asmodeus’ reaction to the show you put on for them.  To your surprise, both of the demons were completely silent, mouths open wide. If you weren’t feeling embarrassed, you would’ve teased them for their expressions.

“We kind of made a bet… And I told them I could get you to look away from the book.” You smiled sheepishly.

“Is that so?” Satan quirked a golden eyebrow, eyes twinkling with what you could only describe as hints of deviousness. “Well, you surely have my full attention now. What do you plan on doing with it?” His eyes scanned every inch of your face, looking for a reaction.

“Ummm..” You trailed off, quickly growing flustered. However, it seemed like Satan didn’t feel like waiting for an answer. Or, he didn’t think it was necessary for you to say it out loud.

One moment you were sitting in the demon’s lap and the other you were getting thrown over his shoulder, the blond himself starting to casually walk out of the library. “I had to take matters into my own hands.” Satan shot you a suggestive smile, his words coming out in a matter-of-fact tone. “Oh, and I’m sure you’ll finally talk when we get to my room.” He strolled past Belphegor and Asmodeus, who were still staring at you with open mouths.

“Well, get on with that body pillow.” You muttered to Belphie, who only nodded repeatedly, still too shocked to close his mouth.

however! i’ve actually been writing something! it’s not much, but i was inspired after i got the om chat that had the picture below ~ so expect something in the next few hours !!

i’d say first write out your dream in bullet points! since its likely you may forget what happens next if you get too invested in writing one part... also, try to describe what your dream looked and felt like as best as you can! if you desribe the feeling the reader will understand what you’re trying to portray better as opposed to you just ... describing every single action word for word (for example, i would write something as simple as touch like: “the light pressure of his fingertips ghosting over my skin was enough to ignite a burning fire in the pit of my stomach, sending shivers down my spine” and NOT: “he touched my waist and i liked it, his hand then slid down to my thigh and squeezed it.” or something like that

i know everyone writes differently so you just need to figure out what works for you! i personally see the plot im writing as a sort of movie play out in my head, so i try to write out the images as best as i can so the reader could see them too!
