I think it would be an amazing idea to introduce and represent the different communities. Disney has such a big and an amazing platform to teach people about these things. Especially since Girl Meets world is a show about a girl and her and her friends problems they goes through. Yeah Maya grew up in a broken home but that is so played out. Why not teach kids about big issues people go through today like racism and sexuality and even gender identity. Teach kids about transgenders teach kids about being gay bisexual or idk even asexual if Disney represented all these different groups of people although there will be the haters and the people that disagree but I promise they will get a whole bunch of praise from the LBGTQ community and it would be a big step into letting the LBGTQ community be much more welcomed all over the world

I just thought of the coolest Girl meets world episode What if a really pretty girl transfers to Riley's school and Lucas doesn't pay attention to Riley and only to the new girl and Riley becomes really upset and ends up hating the new girl and at the end Riley tells the new girl how she is stealing Lucas away her and the new girl confesses she has nothing to worry about since the new girl was in fact gay BOOM
