However, in F1 it's just you. You have to drive and you have to win.

So when the moment finally comes, after years and years of trying and doing your best, and finally you get your first podium - yes, it's amazing to celebrate this with your team. It's a humble gesture and it shows that you remember about the team effort. Your mechanics and engineers. Your whole team. Right? Because only they help you in the end.

And there we have Carlos. Having his first podium. And out of all the options he decides: I will forever remember the first big moment in my career as me and Lando.

Lando was there for me. He didn't get the podium that day, but he was there for me. In one of the most competitive sports. He should be disappointed or salty for not being on the podium, that's how we get, all of us. We have that in our blood, this desire to win. But there he is, pushing that feeling away from him and being there for me. Right next to me.

And Carlos really thought: this is what I choose to remember from that day. Lando's warm smile and him spraying me with champagne. Him making sure I get my first podium experience because I didn't get to share it with other drivers earlier. Him singing and celebrating and staying to the end. His bright, bright eyes, looking at me, just at me. Focusing on me.

This is the moment I choose to remember forever. It's not about me getting my first podium, no.
