Watch: John Oliver perfectly (and frighteningly) compares Donald Trump to a bed of nails.
right i fucking hate that fake progress bullshit
poetry
Donāt tell your daughter that when a boy is mean or rude to her itās because he has a crush on her. Donāt teach her that abuse is a sign of love.
My mom always taught me yell or fight back. Boys would be mean and I would yell back. I would get my ass pinched and I would smack them as hard as I could.
Who alway got in trouble? Me.
They would call my mother and she always came in and lectures my teachers and threatened to sue for making her miss work and treating me poorly.
She always taught my brothers to respect women. The only fights my brothers ever got in was defending women from someone else.
The school tried to call my father once instead of my mother on us. He came in in his full preacher outfit (being a preacher and all) and gave them an entire sermon on what would Jesus day of he was called in. They decided dealing with my mom was better.
I think my favorite story of this is when some kid snapped my bra and I turned around, didnāt even think about it, and punched that little motherfucker right in the nose.
So naturally, I end up in the principalās office, refusing to apologize.Ā
āHe shouldnāt have put his hands on me and I wouldnāt have hit him!ā Thatās the only thing I was saying.
These people had the unfortunate luck of catching my dad at home, instead of my mom. So he comes fucking sauntering in there, like heās Clint fucking Eastwood in some western movie and looks at me.Ā
āMelissa, did you punch him?āĀ
āYes.ā I said.Ā
āWhy?āĀ
āBecause he snapped my bra strap.āĀ
And he turns his squinty eyed glare to the principal and says,Ā āYouāre telling me my daughter is in trouble because that squirrely looking kid put his hands on her and she chose to defend herself? Thatās what you are saying to me.āĀ
āWell, sir-ā The man kind of stuttered because my dad is kind of intimidating in the quiet sort of way that kind of whispers in the back of your mind that this person could be dangerous. āMelissa did make it physical.āĀ
āNo. That kid put his hands on my daughter. Are you saying my daughter cannot defend herself when some boy decides to put hands on her? Is that what you are teaching my girl?āĀ
I didnāt get suspended that day. Ā
*slow clap for excellent parenting*
This is the parent I want to be omg

A philosophy I very much live my life by.
Yeah, too bad he was a Nazi.
was he? shit
Iām assuming by āhe was a Naziā you meant he played a PARODY of Hitler in a MOVIE and in that same movie he also plays a barber who disguises himself as said Hitler parody and delivers one of the greatest anti-fascist speeches of all time.
Itās okay. Itās an easy mistake to make.
Literally where does someone come up with the idea that a Polish immigrant with heavy leftist leanings is in any way a Nazi
In fact, Chaplin was harshly criticized by the American far right for being very anti-Nazi in the period leading up to Americaās entry into World War 2, and many lambasted his film, āThe Great Dictator,āāin which he parodied and ridiculed Hitlerāas āanti-Germanā and āwar-mongering.ā The Nazis themselves, as well as the Nazi sympathizers and supporters of the American far right, hated him.
Chaplinās films were banned in Nazi Germany, and Nazi propaganda smeared him constantly. (Part of the smear was claiming he was Jewishāwhich he was not, but calling someone Jewish in Nazi Germany was guaranteed to inflame public sentiment against them.)
Chaplin was concerned with social issues like homelessness, and was a liberal and an anti-Nazi at a time when to be either one (let along both) was to be accused of being a Communistāwhich at the time was pretty one of the worst things you could call someoneāand indeedĀ āanti-American.ā (Because, again, American conservatives loved them some Nazisāright up until the time Hitlerās forces started invading other countriesāand even then, the bulk of the US thought we shouldnāt āinterfereā in what they saw as a strictly European affair.)
Even after the war, and even after the world realized the despicable things the Nazis had done, Chaplin couldnāt shake the āCommunistā and āanti-Americanā accusations from conservative American ājournalists,ā politicians, and others on the far right, who were still angry with him for his pre-war anti-Nazi sentiments.
And when he refused to participate in the McCarthyās āRed Scareā Communist witch-hunts of the early 1950s, he was banned from re-entering the United States, while on a trip to England.
In short, Chaplinās ANTI-NAZI leanings made him so many enemies in the US that they set off a chain of events that eventually saw him kicked out of the country. Oh, sure, the US finally issued a formal apology and invited him back, but by that time, his response was pretty much, āYeah, too little, too late.ā And justifiably so.
Chaplin stood against everything the Nazis stood for, and was smeared and punished for it.
So donāt you fucking dare call Charlie Chaplin a Nazi.Ā
Dishonor on you. Dishonor on your family. Dishonor on your cow.
adults getting angry at teens for being so political itās like sorry for caring about the world weāre gonna have to live in??????????? smh
THANK YOU
If you don't believe Black Lives Matter unfollow me.
I posted this 15 minutes ago and lost 7 followers already.Ā
I believe that all lives matter .
I donāt believe in making it seem like a group is still oppressed when theyāre not.
all lives arenāt getting slaughtered in the streets and having their murders covered up or are still getting lynched in the southĀ
So tell me why my brother, whoās enlisted in the navy, has been followed around a store just because heās not in uniform. Tell me why, when driving around with my white friend at night, Iām the one that gets stared at by police officers in his car even though Iām in the passenger seat and we are doing nothing illegal. Tell me why there are videos and pictures and news stories of black people doing nothing wrong, getting killed, and their families being told that they deserved it. Including the kids. Tell me why white people get to steal the same culture that we got bullied for as children. Tell me why I āspeak whiteā because Iām eloquent, have a large vernacular, and am educated. Tell me why Iāve been told āyou should look more like your sisterā referring to my half sister who looks white. You say āall lives matterā but all lives donāt matter if black lives donāt matter, and right now weāre being treated as if we donāt. I matter. My brother and his father, both military men, matter. My four year old niece matters. My great cousin, Joe fucking Frazier, matters. We. Matter. And we will not be silent anymore. You think youāre being inclusive, but by denying us the basic rights that are impeded every day even in our own homes youāre excluding us from the rest of society. We are on your level but you are saying āno no, stay in your placeā because you think our place is beneath you, but it will never be again.
Do I need to get the facts?
DO I NEED TO GO AND GET THE FACTS YOUR ANECDOTAL BULLSHIT LACKS?
ARE YOU WILLING TO ADMIT WHEN YOUāRE ON A WHOLE NEW LEVEL OF WRONG THE BLM MOVEMENT HAS INVENTED?
Or are you just going to block me after you get rekt?
Okay fucker sit yourĀ patheticĀ ass down for a sec. I don'tĀ know why the fuck youāre following me and idk why you feel the need to comment on all of my damn posts. I get this mental image of you sitting at your computer and angrilyĀ typing away at a keyboard with your grossĀ Cheeto dust covered fingers about literally everything. have you seen your stupid ass blog? you'reĀ just trying to start drama and its pathetic. and yes i am going to block you because youāre a sad piece of racist āmeninestā āmemelordā trash with nothing better to do then ārektā people online. Now leave me and my fucking blog alone and go fuck a blender on its highest setting.
Ghostbusters star Leslie Jones has been racially harassed on Twitter.
The new Ghostbusters movie is finally out but itās already receiving a lot of hate. And you have to be dumb not to guess what exactly most people (*cough* white people *cough*) are dissatisfied with.
So one of the characters, Patty Tolan, is portrayed by a Black actress and comedian, Leslie Jones. Last night she was attacked by an army of fans of Milo Yiannopoulos, an Islamophobic British journalist who writes for Breitbart.com, after he published his review of the movie, in which he, among other things, said:
Patty is the worst of the lot. The actress is spectacularly unappealing, even relative to the rest of the odious cast. But itās her flat-as-a-pancake black stylings that ought to have irritated the SJWs. I donāt get offended by such things, but they should.
Jones received a colossal amount of disrespectful hateful tweets, while Yiannopoulos was having fun.
Fellow actors and other people supported Leslie by expressing their thoughts on Twitter with #LoveForLeslieJ.

Class discussions are fun until u find out ur classmates are racists
and sexist Ā and homophobic
i just canāt fathom how someone could even think that there is a āsideā to āchooseā with BLM like we literally just want black people to not be disregarded and killed like weāre some inferior race, there is no fucking side to pick just stop killing us how is that even an argument
why does santa get more things for rich kids
You know what Iāve never understood about the āfast food is a job made for teenagers who want spending money, not grown people to support themselvesā argument?
Teenagers have to go to school. There are limits to how long and what hours they can work. So if fast food was truly just made for teenagers then itās only be open like 3:30-10. There would be no grabbing a McMuffin on your way to work, or a frosty at 1am. If every adult left the food industry to teenagers it would crumble.
So realistically, itās not just a job for teenagers, because itās adults who have to wake up super early to open the store. Itās adults who work the overnight shifts to. And those adult sure as shit deserve a living wage.
And this applies to to minimum wage retail too.
Replace ācivil rights movementā with āBlack Lives Matterā and ā1964ā with ā2016ā
