Green got so many opportunities to get to know their crewmates better, and they have. Learning about them so many times. Learning about their home lives, their hopes and dreams, their fears. Green even has slipped up a couple of times and says something about a another crewmate only said in the previous loop

Green probably did things that they weren't proud of, when they were an imposter or not. even when Green eventually grew numb that guilt was there. and then realized that the cycle is changing possibly breaking. Green has hope again and that guilt turned into a determination of not letting that happen again

Well Purple feels guilty of not realizing the situation sooner, while the others feel horrible of not noticing Olive's absence during the party and if some did they definitely feel awful now for not trying to find them they did just lose their sibling

There are many like him but for the Au the ones that you need to know is

Somewhere the dog- an ally of the crew and old anchor to Knoweher

Something the lioness- once great friend now enemy and a true fallen Angel

Nothing the wolf- him turning on Knowhere and Somewhere was one of the most painful experiences that Knoweher ever been in. physically and mentally

But I'k who. What do you think? I'm leaning towards angelique but with a different relationship since in the movie coraline hated wybie till the end

A swap au :3

I saw it on AO3 and thought it was clever. So instead of Howard going and Phillip getting accepted, it's Howard who got accepted and Phillip saving him. It actually takes Phillip less time on the island to get the Howard, getting his friends journal entries quicker and actually getting things before they're actually needed.

I also like to see characters who have inventory have sashes, especially if in real design they don't. So for the Canon, either Howard also has one or he just shoves things in his pockets. But here Phillip actually has a messenger bag where he keeps notes, the entries, and all collectibles he gets in the island.

I like to think Phillip tries to not get sidetracked within the island, and is actually talks to Knowhere the most due to the cat's knowledge and stuff so they connect most. And when Phillip gets to the manor, sees Dr morose, and gets to Howard he's strapped up more and possibly connected to machines bc Howard had more knowledge of rituals and things Dr morose wants but Howard kept his mouth shut so he's trying to get the information through his brain...yk? Makes Phillip wanna do more harm on doctor morose
