He’s a traveling book merchant whos dad is a librarian that died to akus hand when he sold a book with anti aku propaganda so now Johny travels selling the few books he managed to save from the library living in a small camp that he moves every few days in order to keep undercover He meets Scaramouche after a random mechanic patches him up reborn and still as jazzy as ever but sadly missing his hat and weapons(damn mechanic stole them) he uses his flute to become a wandering musician instead of assassin still searching for jack in case he can kill jack and prove himself to aku before stumbling upon Johny at a market and getting confused because nobody really reads books anymore fascinated and bored with everything else in his life he decides to travel alongside him using his flute to drum up business leading to a bigger profit which is great until aku inevitably gets news of Scaramouche being alive
