[Shameless Plug] /r/javaScriptStudyGroup
From /r/webdev
Hello World!Wanted to do a shameless plug for our low intensity, all-levels-welcome javascript group: /r/javaScriptStudyGroupThe group does a weekly focus (picked by members of the community), but we discuss things throughout the week as well. This week's focus is html5 canvas: https://www.reddit.com/r/javaScriptStudyGroup/comments/4717ao/week_6_focus_canvas/We're also doing an ongoing AMA. A redditor who landed a position at Facebook will be answering questions (officially kicks off this coming Monday, but it's actually open now and will stay active all next week): https://www.reddit.com/r/javaScriptStudyGroup/comments/47puhn/i_work_on_the_frontend_for_facebook_ama/So feel free to drop by, demo some canvas work, and/or ask some questions to a newly appointed front end engineer! Thanks!

What's your front end workflow?
From /r/webdev
Right now, I'm using Codekit, SASS, JS and Sublime. I just finished a big project (1 year+) and it's made me realize I've out grown this setup. It lacks customization and automation. I'd like to take a breather for the next week and focus on optimizing my work flow. I'm just starting to look into this and hoping to get a head start from others. While I really like Sublime and probably won't change much about that for a while, I absolutely need to replace Codekit. It's obvious you can do all sorts of neat stuff today like. For example: Grunt compiling Sass using libSass, using all sorts of lovely tools to compile your Sass, like autoprefixer. Using ES6 with babel and having that compile into one nice minified file, sprite sheets, etc.TL;DR Looking into automating my work flow. Tips would be appreciated.
